In this video, Dr. Christine shares the teaching of the Catholic Church on sexuality and marriage and why the Church holds such teaching. She addresses the questions that Theology of the Body answers: Who is the human person? What is our purpose? How are we to live in a way that promotes our flourishing? The importance of this topic cannot be underestimated when the longest-lived visionary of Fatima, Sr. Lucia Santos, prophesied that 'a time will come when the decisive battle between the Kingdom of Christ and Satan will be over marriage and the family'! 🙏
Dr. Christine Ward completed her MA through Maryvale Institute in 2011 and her PhD in 2018. She now lectures on the MA programme at Maryvale on Christian Anthropology and Sexual Ethics. She has recently founded the TOB Network UK - an initiative designed to harness all those in the UK who are interested in deepening their knowledge of Theology of the Body and authentic Magisterial teaching. She now lives in North Yorkshire with her husband and four children.
