Really enjoyed this video Tracy and Colin. What a place New York is. Your strawberry milk shake was unreal, never seen anything like it before! Pity that Katz deli was a bit of a let down though. Although you can always say you’ve been there. It was a bit hectic I thought, very noisy too. There are so many other delicatessens in New York where it may have been a more enjoyable experience although everyone wants to go to Katz just for the experience. Xxx 😘

We haven't been to Katz's. That meat looks amazing. The whole place looks really authentic! Did it seem like it had a lot of tourists, or more locals? I do think the overall experience of it as you said is actually a strong dose of the real New York. It doesn't look that inviting to me, I think my anxiety would be triggered in there 😂😂
Were the pickles as winky as they looked? That sandwich is the total opposite of the sandwich I had in Thurso--it was the single thinnest slice of meat I've ever seen between two pieces of bread. 😂

Oh the cheesecake was indeed heavenly..😍, I thought we’d filmed in the “smelly” self service post office but apparently we hadn’t 🙄.. I also wondered if we’d maybe put the postcards in a bin not an actual post box - tiredness can do that to a person 😂😂
I loved the walk back across the manhattan bridge - even though the train being so close to us rattled me ever so slightly 😂
Katz’s … ? I’m so unsure about this place !! The food was good but it’s so tired and dated .. it could do with a spruce up imo 🤔I like things neat and tidy .. this wasn’t that 😂😂 it’s also expensive .. does it need to be ? 🤔🤔
I think there were some locals but also a lot of tourists … having said all that though I’m glad we decided to go 😂😂

There was plenty of food at Katz's. The place still looks dated and cluttered. You enjoyed the food, though you found the meats to be fatty. No cucumber for Colin! Glad you enjoyed the Katz's experience, though I though it had gone down hill and become a tourist trap, last time I was there. I'm not sure if it is even kosher. An experience to be had. Thanks for this vlog. 🤓🐶

But all in all it was an experience that we weren’t going to do but decided to do last minute …🤔

Katz's. I agree. As far as I know, it's always looked as it does- dated. Yes it has become a tourist trap. Good food, fatty meat. I'm glad you did it, just to show it.

Service won't be as cheerful and friendly as you get at Byrnes chippy. If you thought the fly was big....wait till you see a NYC rat! Hope you're having a wonderful visit. That milkshake was big enough to keep you going all day ! The skyscraper of all milkshakes ! You took some great still photos in the video too. At least the chips were good in Katz. Are they living on past reputations perhaps?

Yes , we would recommend it , it’s in a great location and our room was on 29th floor and as you seen we had a great view of the Empire State Building .. if you do plan on staying there just be sure to ask for a city view room 🙏🏻 we did look at the kixby which is next door but one ( it has a roof bar )

Yes you’re right Martin , we done it because everyone would’ve said why didn’t you go to Katz’s if we didn’t , plus we had to compare it to others we try later on in our adventure 😂😂
