@@nathanmcdonald610 Retired Bigfoot driver Lonny Childress is the current owner. He and his brother own a shop near St. Louis that specializes in classic Mustangs, and they're working in restoring it in their spare time. It's planned to look like it did circa 1992, when Childress drove it, which is probably the best way to do it, as there's little of the original configuration left because of all the extensive changes to it over the decades that it was such a workhorse for the team.
While Bigfoot #5 ran in mud bogs & crushed some cars, this was probably the hardest it ever ran in competition. Also, Dan Dubs must be Jack Willman's long lost twin!
@wdsr5 Well, It was another '74 Ford, but Bob changed the sheet metal over the years. Also IV started life with V's 10' tires in 1984 then by 1990, they put the 66'' tires on and it still had leaf springs on, but 2 nitro shocks on the rear. Some evolution, huh?
@wildfootfan94 I don't know. I tried to upload it on a disk with other events so I could fill the disk time. Maybe I shouldn't have. This Pt 2 is pretty good, though. Any Idea if it can be synced properly? Glad you enjoyed it, though.
@wildfootfan94 If you go to the Bigfoot 4x4 Facebook page they also have this on here, and it's in sync a bit better. That's just kind of how these old programs were for some of the time.
@TheMKEWERBY yeah Im so used to seeing the different f-series trucks on the bigfoots...and not used to seeing that same bodies on the differnet bigfoots number (ie bigfoot 2, 3,..ect..)

What about ol Ron?? Never met Ron but I heard he was a very big man. Me and Jim Kramer were eye to eye and I'm 6'3, can't really say that about Andy lol
Fuck yes Number 8 and Andy Brass!! I dont fully like the top, as it is not the regular one used on it, but still very nice! Also looked a little imbalanced for a few bounces
Once they went full tube chassis. that was the end of real monster trucks. wish somebody would come out with a classic monster truck class where there are rules stating you have to use a factory truck body with its full factory interior. like the generation that was before Bigfoot 8. of course you must run a cage for safety reasons. plus bring back the long drag races with long lines of cars.
In my opinion, the most exciting they ever were was the end of the "stage 2" trucks around 1990, albeit not the prettiest, which was a few years earlier. The dunebuggy style tube trucks are quite capable, but they aren't trucks. They are dunebuggies with panels hanging on them.
I feel the same way, between the two of them. It even sounded like the engine had to strain just to turn those big tires! Especially out of the 15' hole.
I was there as an 8 year old kid. Ever since then I've always wanted a bigfoot truck.
I can understand that!
Bigfoot 4 is a legend. Wish they would've kept it.
I know...I would LOVE to see it restored to its Original 1985 condition. It totally deserves it.

The best drivers to me are Jim Kramer, Rich Hooser, Andy Brass, Dan Runte, John Piant....this is the order they came into the seen for t.v races

John Piant never drove Bigfoot 4, Bigfoot 4 drove john piant.
thanks for sharing, Walter!

After hearing BF8/9 with mufflers, I never liked the sound of a monster truck without them.
It's certainly different.
I couldn't agree more!!
#10 also ran mufflers for few years as well. # 11 is when they started running the shotgun motor with open headers.
I just came here to see Bigfoot.
Great upload Michael! Is there any chance off a reupload in better quality as this is 240p? Many thanks!!
No, sorry.
@@TheMKEWERBY No problem - thanks
Jim Krammer

Andy Brass were the best drivers of BIG FOOT
Yes, I think they probably were!
No way. Runte's the man.
What about ol Ron?? Never met Ron but I heard he was a very big man. Me and Jim Kramer were eye to eye and I'm 6'3, can't really say that about Andy lol
Dose anyone know what the track looked like. Was it a Z shaped course?
I think figure-8.
Everybody's all talking about Bigfoot but I wanna know what the guy at 2:33 was doing.
I don’t know. I’ve always wondered that myself.
Yeah that guy is weird! The 90s!
He is getting ready to rock.

Why do you say that?
@whatuautado That would have been nice.
Couldn't pay me enough to drive 5. Not scared of it, just doesn't look fun at all. I'd drive 8 all day

I remember being a kid and thinking Bigfoot was the $hit. Andy Brass tho
the sold FastTrackz
but it went to someone who will give it some tlc and it may end up at the MTHoF (monster truck hall of fame and museum)
They sold it to chandler lloyd now its called overtime trax
So you think they should have dropped them???
He needs to come out of retirement
THats not Bigfoot 2 at 14.08 Didnt bigfoot 2 come out in 1983..and that ford body wanst out yet...
#2 ran a 79 body for several years. Ford (a huge sponsor at the time) wanted Bob to have almost all the trucks run late-model sheet metal.
