I don't know, I didn't like half of Chromatica songs too (at my first listening) but I fell in love with this album 2 days after release and now I love all songs and I think its AOTY ❤

Because the fans were really toxic in the singles reviews, she even had to compliment Gaga’s vocals in Rain On Me (when it indeed sounds a lot more like an Ariana song) just so people wouldn’t get so mad with this review.
my faves are Babylon, 911, Sine From Above and 1000 Doves. The rest is soooooo shitty. 😂

As a Gaga fan, I would say honestly this is a VERY fair review, I was expecting a lot worse based on the reactions from other monsters. Even for me, I didn't really click with the album on first listen. But on the second, third, and subsequent listens, I fell in love with it more and more. I'm about to watch your Chromatica relisten. Love you Ajay! Keep giving your honest and real opinion, it's very appreciated

I love so much Gaga's music, but at the first listen i didn't really liked Chromatica at all, but after a few times listening the album, i fell in love with Chromatica.
As a Gaga's Little Monster i would say Chromatica was terrible. it's not well produced wtf, let's listen to Scheiße, Aura, Dance in the Dark, LoveGame, So Happy I Could Die, Bloody Mary, Venus, Government Hooker, G.U.Y. those songs sounds experimental and fresh, well produced. Chromatica was nothing, she just give to white gays what they want. She did nothing. Rain on Me (ft. Ariana Grande) was nothing compared to Telephone (ft. Beyonce) the sound of the album was horrible, deal with it.

I didn’t like the album the first few time’s I heard it, and then I listened to it with headphones and it actually made me cry. But it’s definitely a slow burn to love
@@emmyxb94 thanks for sharing. I'll give it another shot. I think I'm so used to Gaga bops that you want to blast in your car. So when I dont hear that, its confusing. Its probably not intended to be radio friendly. Not every album can be.
When I was a little monster back in 2010/2011 we were a really powerful group full of tolerance and inclusivity. But some little monsters nowadays are just really toxic... You can't force people to like the album. And Lady Gaga's music has changed over the years. I'm not afraid to say that this isn't my favorite album. I question some of the rhythms and sounds that are much more generic than what I'm used to with Gaga. And even with songs that I like (for example Alice), the lack of lyrics (there aren't much in that song) is a bit weird. I was much more involved in the Born this way ara which was the most successful ara in my opinion. Again just my opinion. Maybe it's an age thing depending on which ara you grew up with. But you can't just cancel everyone that's not god-praising this album. That's just really immature.

What's more bizzarre is that the whole concept behind chromatica is about the toxic and traumatic aspects brought by fame and objectfying fanbases. Do nowadays monsters even get the artist they claim to praise?

The album is definitely a grower. I appreciate that she's sort of bringing back the 90s dance/disco sound, but TBH the album already sounds a bit dated.

She wasn’t a huge fan of ARTPOP (which I LOVE) either. I just don’t think heavy electronic music is her thing and that is 100% okay. I am a Lady Gaga STAN (and I love Chromatica) 🙌🏻 but theres nothing wrong with her expressing her opinions, that’s why I subscribe to her channel, ya know? Please remember music is subjective and it means something different to everyone. It’s okay to love it and it’s okay to hate it. It’s NOT okay to harass or antagonize others for their opinions.
Yes I agree with everything you say. But I think she needs to be better at doing this like we can’t always guess what her music style is or what her mood is at the moment??? Like if she had put in an excerpt in the beginning explaining that edm and related songs r not her vibe. But in rain on me she was attacking lady Gaga in general and not the style of song
@@reginaalfaro148 thats not exactly true. She liked a few of the edm songs that Madonna put out when she was doing her discography. When she reviewed Rain On Me, she was 100% correct in the sense that the song was geared towards Grande. She never attacked Gaga 😂😂

I've been listening to Japanese indie music and I'm preferring it over most western music. If anything I guess my music taste is getting more diverse, After Hours or Dua lipa's new album (my mind went blank) are so far the only albums worthy of AOTY in my opinion.
Well Gaga is different from the all and can actually sing. Someone isn’t going to like something she does.. I got tired of kpop because not so many groups stand out. It’s like the same thing for me.
