- Lunatic Soul I is Riverside frontman Mariusz Duda's debut album with solo project Lunatic Soul. The fifth album, coming in September 2017, is called Fractured, watch the teaser here - www.kscopemusic.com/ls/
Lunatic Soul I is the critically acclaimed beginning to an unsettling
story that was followed up with second album II. Duda explained this concept as "a journey through the afterworld, a place that exists somewhere in-between, enriched with new motifs and retrospections. A sort of road movie about a lost soul."
Since the release of their debut album in 2003, Riverside have built a solid fan base in a genre that boasts the likes of Porcupine Tree, Opeth and Dream Theater. Lunatic Soul adds another name to this new post-progressive stable.
"Haunting Sounds…Brilliant" - Metal Hammer - Hudba
The Genius of Lunatic Soul. Couldn't gave known how relevant Lunatic Soul I would become as I made the decision to take MY precious Son off life support. How could I have related so much to a transformation and NOT DEATH. Yes this is dark as the lyrics imply. Love M.D.💔
try not to cry>listen to LS>cry alot
Mariusz' musical universes are just beautiful and tasty as I don't even know.
Brilliant!
The opening riff in this sounds exactly like the one on Pygmalion's Ladder, or rather, Pygmalion's Ladder sounds exactly like this.
Good shit! :)
I get Orphaned Land vibes towards the end!
I hear what you mean and I agree, there is definitely a Orphaned Land vibe in it that is simply amazing to complement an already amazing song
on a wing and a prayer
❤😀👍✌
This song reminds me of a combination of Tool, Karnivool and a hint of the Tea Party
+kscope i know you know this, is porcupine tree coming back?
Steven Wilson said it in several interviews. No, sadly.
This is nothing like Porc!
