That's actually the reason why I like it. I really dont like the repetition of the same same phrases in the original and I would have preferred to just hear the beat drop. Plus I could do without the "bada-ving bbada-boom" thing, so the fact that that also gets covered in this remix is a plus for me. But I get what you mean anyway.

Thank you for keeping the "Trap" element . Some blinks were complaining about the song having certain aspects but those aspects were all found in trap music and what makes it great. Which caused a lot of people to remix it by making the song completely EDM which didn't help it

I was NOT ready for that drop on my first listen, THAT WAS FUCKIN' AWESOME!!! I wish Blackpink's producers were as experimental as you are. The original still goes hard, but this remix blew my mind. I wasn't sure what to expect from this, but the sound design here is incredible. Very few songs have achieved this balance between ambiance and intensity. You should be proud of yourself for what you have done here. I will be following you and look forward to future remixes!!

Bloody love this. When I first heard the song I knew there would be a beat drop, especially since it is kpop after all. Seeing as I do listen to trap, the original beat drop was proper lacking. This remix- muah. Exactly how I like it.
I really dislike the chorus and the repetition of certain phrases throw me off the original song, so I actually really liked how the beat drop overshadowed the chorus in this remix. But the 'ding' after the first "look at you; now look at me". Cherry on top mate.
I still don’t like HYLT but this remix was much easier on the ears, it gave proper progression and filled in the emptiness of the chorus

Agreed, I had high expectations for this cb and though the visuals and mv were nothing short of amazing, the song and the choreography were severely underwhelming
The only part I liked about the song was Lisa’s rap but it wasn’t enough to save the song for me, I expected the break dance/drop at the end to perhaps make the song better but it made it worse, it sounded so messy and was overwhelming and not the good kind sigh but I’m hoping the rest of the album will be to my taste
