At both places of employment, there were VERY strict policies to “NEVER enter the customer’s home”, under any circumstances. I did it once, while delivering groceries for an elderly man with InstaCart. I’d have been so ashamed of myself after, if I hadn’t. But, it’s for OUR safety AND their safety. It’s also to avoid “he said-she said” lawsuits, that would just be settled immediately to keep it quiet. It is also an insurance thing. Many people don’t understand realize that most big companies DO have insurance policies, on many things, for their business. One of those is for their own employees, while on the clock. Well, if you step into someone’s house, guess what….insurance isn’t going to be helping out no matter WHAT. Your place of employment will have to foot the bill, for EVERYTHING. So, if they make it a rule you can’t, then if you DO, it legally helps take them off the hook & you’re on your own. These are just potential, possible, & plausible reasons; but, there are many. Lol! It’s kind of baffling, to me, that ANYone would take this seriously, as a legitimate happening. If it IS & WE are incorrect, then it must be dude’s last day or week, on the job. He’s already got another job & turned in his 2-week notice. Haha!

This is fake. As someone who worked as an amazon delivery driver i can tell you with 100% certainty that we would get fired for this. Amazon delivery policy is if we cannot access the property without opening a gate or a door then we are not allowed to access whatever is behind the gate or door. And we are especially not allowed inside someones home nor are we allowed to open a customers package(s). Even with permission to do both. Also that man is not in uniform. Even if you work for a 3rd party delivery company on behalf of amazon you are still required to wear a blue and gray hat, shirt and safety vest provided by amazon and yet there is not a single logo on him and not a drop of blue nor grey. Lastly we dont have time for this. Our deliver routes have us delivering over 150 packages in a 75 mile radius every single day. If you do not stay on top of it and move as fast as possible then you will be taking packages back to the distribution center when dispatch calls you back at the end of the day. And you'll get in trouble because thats not supposed to happen. Fake asf

This is fake. As someone who worked as an amazon delivery driver i can tell you with 100% certainty that we would get fired for this. Amazon delivery policy is if we cannot access the property without opening a gate or a door then we are not allowed to access whatever is behind the gate or door. And we are especially not allowed inside someones home nor are we allowed to open a customers package(s). Even with permission to do both. Also that man is not in uniform. Even if you work for a 3rd party delivery company on behalf of amazon you are still required to wear a blue and gray hat, shirt and safety vest provided by amazon and yet there is not a single logo on him and not a drop of blue nor grey. Lastly we dont have time for this. Our deliver routes have us delivering over 150 packages in a 75 mile radius every single day. If you do not stay on top of it and move as fast as possible then you will be taking packages back to the distribution center when dispatch calls you back at the end of the day. And you'll get in trouble because thats not supposed to happen. Fake asf
Yeah, that's the first thing I thought about. Had a friend working in deliveries too and there's no way in hell someone can afford to waste their time like this, It's a very stressful job when you're on a tigh schedule.
