Fun fact! He wasn't born colour-blind, and nr was he not seeing any colour. He was red-green colour blind.
No he's not red green color blind, there's no confirmation of what type of color blindness he has actually, or if they're just faded.

Actually Sanemi is partially color blind! We don't know what colors he can and can't see but he is not completely monochromatic. I do like it as a headcannon though and may or may not be borrowing it for my AU-

Yes, but daltonizm and color-blind is two different things.
Daltonizm - Your vision is un-complette with colors, and you see them different, you can also didn't see colors like brown, orange (an it's like 20 types of this)
Color-blind - you didn't see any colors, it's so rare, and only men's can have it

Sorry for commenting on this like this I just wanted to let you know that that’s not how it works, they can still see colors they just can’t see certain colors or those colors blend together with other colors, I know that because my dad is slightly colorblind, although the way it’s depicted is better for this specific story but that’s not what it’s like in real life
Daltonizm, It's what your dad had, for Daltoniznm colors are mixed up, for color-blind person can't see Any of colors, and only men's can have it.
Women can only have daltominz, where only just a few colors are different

@@Iza_YT i read every single manga available in english, and in book 23 the new master said “sanemi cant write, but he cant read” I thought that he only couldn’t write because after the final battle he lost 3 fingers, and only his thumb and his pinky finger remained, which made his unable to write. And in the sentence, the new master never mentioned him having any problems with reading.
