Catalonia Riviera Maya | Vacation Vlog 2022 ~ Room Upgrade, Flooding & Cancelled Flight!!

We stayed at Hotel Catalonia Riviera Maya, an all-inclusive resort!! Check out our room tour, walking the grounds and what we did on the daily! Our room was upgraded for free and then flooded the next day, see how we handled the situation haha. Shaun and I always have so much fun together, we can't wait to take more trips like this! Great video! My wife and I are looking at this resort for December 2023. Saw you got an upgraded room, did you also pay what they are calling "preferred" (I think)? Also saw that staying on the Riviera Maya side the sister hotel "Talum" you also get to go to those restaurants and pools correct? Like the lagoon type ocean area but did you miss having a normal beach or is it just fine like in front on the beach bar area? Was it really busy at times?
