In Portuguese we also have this sound in another way, of course. In modern RP Accent there are basically 3 main ones (and there are still others). /aʊə/ /aɪə/ and /jʊə/ always ending with schwa sound. /aʊə/ as in our, hour with muted h sound, power, and shower here the r sound is muted and the schwa sound appears. /aɪə/ as in fire, iron, and Ireland... /jʊə/ as in cure, pure, and curious...
