I did my first Ice path job yesterday ( Tuesday), first time I did not fall through the ice, best tip to give, keep the truck under 20 MPH. if 20MPH and above thats when the ice will start to crack.
Im not sure if this is an option in game, but in real life, big rigs overheat often when driving through the mountains due to the engine stress relative to the weight being pulled, so they blast the defroster to cool the engine and prevent overheating. My brother told me about this when he worked in the Coast Guard delivering sattelites through the mountains. This applies to vehicles in general, so if your car starts to overheat, just turn the defroster on and try not to idle too long. It's saved me from blowing my engine a couple of times lol
It opens the thermostat to let coolant flow through
This is true, I hauled lumber out of Washington to Wisconsin a few years back and climbing the grades on i90 at 25 mph in 7th gear you absolutely have to blast the defrost with ac off to prevent the water from boiling over.
In real life the grills get full of ice and you need to scrap it off or no airflow will go into the engine
Well if your water pump goes that won't help
I doubt engines overheat in -17° weather.
There’s a Twin Lakes in Oregon, I’ve been to it multiple times, but luckily it was named right because there really is two lakes, lol. It’s just difficult to get to. It’s a trek off the highway with your vehicle on gravel/dirt road, I would recommend four-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive, unless it’s absolutely perfect conditions, road and weather, and then it’s another few mile hike from the parking spot. But once you get there, it’s absolutely beautiful.
Trucker here. I can tell you that in the lower 48 you wouldn’t be driving in that. in Alaska they do thing differently. also that load would be a nightmare to haul in that

The red and blue “wires” are your emergency (red) and service (blue) air brake lines. It’s missing the green line though, which is your electrical line to your trailer. And that’s not your “support leg” or whatever you called it ;) It’s called the landing gear. Also, no… there’s no special endorsements for driving in Alaska/driving in the mountains! There! You’re a CDL class A driver like me now ;)
This series is really relaxing to watch, im okay with a couple more episodes 😊
10:14 - Holy crap, him moving past that little plant in the foregound made it look like there was a creepy silhouette of a thin figure running behind the excavator shovels on the truck! I suddenly automatically went into full horror game mode! 😲

You can tell he lives in southern Florida when calls this blizzard conditions yeah they’re somewhat crappy but I don’t consider a blizzard here in Canada until the visibility is less than 5 ft

Maybe making sure your heat is on would help with the windshield 😂 you keeping turning it off. The weight of a truck and trailer varies but usually it's 80000lbs.

HUGE FACEPALM on your entire parking thing..
You basically parked it in two different locations, BUT DIDNT UNHITCH AND UNPLUG THE TRAILER IN EITHER OF THEM, then you drove to the huge one without a star rating and did the unplug it was asking you to do all along, but since you used the huge one you didn't get any points on the parking (when you delivered the job, the parking indicator said "0" as in ZERO POINTS..
Imagine if you would simply have tried.. just tried to unplug and unhitch the trailer in one of the first two locations.. you would have gotten a 4 (or 5 in the last one) star rating on parking, giving you extra XP and reputation.
Good luck getting any real XP if you keep doing dumb mistakes like that.
