#adtr #adaytoremember - Hudba
in case anyone wants to know, Cody Quinstad (clean vocalist for Wage War) helped write the song. It explains a lot.
Yup. He writes the new Falling In Reverse stuff too.
Wow. I was thinking the breakdown sounded like Wage War.
In case you wanna know, Jeremy helped write/and produced every single one of Wage War's records, except Pressure. It explains a lot.
Explains why the chorus fucking sucks
In case you were wondering Jeremy helps write and produce basically everything they come out with. Explains a lot
Wait until he hears 'Feedback' lol
I just came from that video lol
Falling In A Day To Wage War
Ah yes you could add Octane Core to it too.
About to say the chorus sounds like drugs by fir
You joke, but that would be badass
I'm probably going to have a controversial opinion but I don't think every band need to be "groundbreaking" sometimes I just need some basic ass metalcore
@@Rizwaan122 Haha I swear! That's all we need from metalcore
Definitely agree
Almost posted this exact thing until I read your comment. ADTR doesn’t need to be “groundbreaking / reinvent the wheel / etc” .. their best albums prove that less is more. Sometimes simple is better!
This song is better than anything on Your Welcome I really liked the double breakdown
A day to remember? More like a breakdown to remember
Always has been
Noti gang lets goooo. Been waiting for this reaction
Why does the chorus remind me of Popular Monster?
Same writer
This song went balls to the wall for sure, just like the balls on your wall. A certified banger 🤘🏼
This song definitely DID NOT go balls to the wall lmao, wtf take is that
The ADTR I remember
Not that any band has “anything to prove” per-say, but if any band did it would definitely be ADTR it’s not that they went in a “new direction” they just made a bunch of songs with little to no effort and forget the innovation/creativity. An album like Amo By bring me the horizon I don’t love by any means but you can at least see the vision and passion behind it
Amo is such a great example. There is a difference between going a new direction and removing effort, which is what I felt like you’re welcome was for the most part. About half of amo has not had any replay value for me but the concepts in the album are quite interesting and the album is anything but effortless.
@@oceanwomangod While I disagree and regularly go back and listen to amo, I do agree fully on the comparison. You can tell right out of the gate with amo that "ooh this is different let's see where it goes" and the production and creativity is all over amo. You're Welcome was the opposite. It very much felt like a couple solid singles, and then a record that was just to seal the deal with the new label. Which is strange because Fueled By Ramen was probably hyped to sign them. That whole album felt so odd to me all around. I understand music is expensive to properly make, especially if you wanna tour and make merch and such, so most bands almost have to have a label, but part of me was stoked to have ADTR be independent. Then, well.... we all know how that went now. But this song completely renewed my faith in the band.
tl:dr I think amo is good, I agree with the comparison that amo was creative and a lot went into making it and that You're Welcome was about as limp as the noodles the label is fueled by.
Beartooth - Riptide, you should react to
Enjoyed that one! Happy for Caleb
For sure
He probably wouldn't enjoy it. I love it, but beartooth is always beartooth. You could see their standard structure to be good OR bad but I feel like he doesn't enjoy the idea of all of their songs being structured the same.
@@XACTIC_Valour fair. Personally I enjoyed the song, but they do tend to use the same structure almost every song :|
@@alexdelacruz8258 I LOVE beartooth! They're a perfect blend of all walks of hard rock/metal, Caleb had a beautiful voice, and he writes some of the catchiest songs. And the only critique I have is that you know its the simple riff, verse, chorus, (maybe another riff) verse , chorus, breakdown/bridge, chorus/chorus2.0, and maybe riff again. If it works it works! And boy does it work! But.... I wouldn't mind something a little spicy to shake up that structure a bit
Notification gang
Let's gooooo
@@mattstevo1313 guyyyyy
Great song, but I miss the « pop-punk with breakdown »
me too mate
You should check Burning Thrones by Acres
[it just works] - now this must be Todd Howard's favrite song.
Btw really nothing new, but not bad. And yeah, breakdown remings of Bow Down by I Prevail)
This just sounds like new Falling In Reverse without the rapping
A Day To Remember just released the best Memphis May Fire song in forever
Dude all I hear in this song is MMF. It sounds like one of the 87 singles they released in the past year
This is what I thought to, ADTR went from inspiring bands to being a mix of wag wag and MMF lol
@@lukeherndon exactly, I'm still confused on why they released ten singles on an twelve song album... The only difference in this song to those MMF songs is that ADTR made the breakdown last more than ten seconds lmao
Yep this sounds like a MMF song.
I also get a lot of falling in reverse vibes from this song
Solid track, nothing groundbreaking, but a step up from their last album for sure
Reminds me of Wage War
Just like resentment i like this
This is definitely a more modernized metalcore-ish version of ADTR. Definitely a comeback for sure.
this is exactly what I think about this song!
The Oklahoma Kid album reaction. Do it
It’s like they never wrote you’re welcome
New Adtrchitects song, let‘s go!
I’m looking to see if you have, but if not you should give “Hey You” by Disturbed a listen!
Legit the most excited I've been for their music in a while.
3:54 This is definitely one of the best breakdowns in 2022!🥵🔥🤘🏻❤
Not even close, it’s a pretty standard breakdown and even by ADTR standards, it’s nothing special
@@OccupiedMuffins As you know, however, the second part of the breakdown unwound me! 🥵
Yeah big no to that one. Norma Jean still the winner
It’s good but every song on Saviour’s album beats it
This is absolutely nothing new or ground breaking but I’ve still had the song on repeat since it came out. It’s addicting af for some reason.
Don’t blame you, it’s a good song. Doesn’t need to be groundbreaking to be good.
Does every single new song have tk be groundbreaking
@@BratatoChip No. When did I say it did?
@@august3869 I’m just saying , like it seems like if the song isn’t some insane new thing people downplay it. It’s annoying
Get the Shot - Deathbound (ft. Rob Watson from Lionheart)
this exactly what they're last album should've been bro. this song was tops that last album by a landslide. so hyped to hear some more🔥🔥😩😩
From what I heard, Cody from Wage War co-wrote it and co-produced it. If that's the case, makes sense the song has this heaviness, being that Wage War is one of the heaviest bands of the genre in the game.
@@JR-90 def gave me some wage war vibes
My nipples could cut diamonds when they slowed it down during the breakdown.
This is such an improvement from their last album
This song surprised me SO MUCH. that second breakdown blew me away
This song slaps! Killer track!
Said this on another video but this type of production is starting to become typical for the bigger bands in the scene now. The simple riffs with super polished production and octave down riff as the breakdown. A lot of the bands sounding like the last Memphis May Fire album.
Obviously because they are working with the same producers/mixing engineers. Definitely better than Your Welcome.
True!!
It's Cody Quistad lmao, he's writing all these songs for metalcore-turned-soft bands to have "a comeback".
@@benhostetter4775 Yet it's working.
@@moltentheoryx3332 Don't get me wrong, I love Cody and think he's a godsend for these songs, I just wish the people he's helping deserved it. Instead we get Ronald McRadke spewing racist and transphobic shit like radiation out of Chernobyl and a band full of rapist (Josh) enablers shoved down our throats.
It always makes me happy when a band follows up a controversial negative album with a banger new single and return to form.
Ngl I am sucker for generic bands…if thats what people would like to tag metalcore😂🙌🏻
A breakdown within a breakdown...nice!
why are people complaining about the song on a reaction video
Nothing will beat 2010 - 2013 adtr 😭❤️

BANGER!!!!
I really enjoy this song, if this is the direction, the new album will be at least good. On the matter of Your welcome: I get the negativity the album is having (I mostly agree), but Last Chance to Dance was a real gem on that album.
That song live melted my face off. Triggered an instant thought of a particular person I image that song aimed at.
Very good taste bro🤘🤘🤘
I dont think they had anything to 'prove'.. If anything, ADTR had EARNED the right to do an experimental album. Most all great bands do one at some point in time. Anybody thought they wouldnt pop back? Nah i always knew. These dudes got tons of smash hits, tons of heavy too. Some ppl jus dont be lookin for it ig
We need a Album Review of Fame on Fire - Welcome to the Chaos
Come on, gotta give STARSET another change.
Never listened to ADTR. Apparently this is heavier than their last release? I could get into this.
Yeah, their previous album, You're Welcome, was commonly referred to as one of the worst metalcore albums that year. You'd be pleased to know that this is leagues above what that album was.
It's a very well done song! Nothing over the top but a damn fucking enjoyable song for sure
Used to see them in concert back in 2010 and it was awesome !
That breakdown hits hard
if you want, react to the 2 new songs of infinite illusion... they made absence in 2020 (your favorite song of 2020 as you wrote in that video)
sounds like falling in reverse but's so coool🖤 the breakdown 🔥🔥
falling in reverse sounds like ADTR
@@jlowe92 Falling in reverse is making songs with this sound since 2018 or so. So no.
And heavy.
@@frost6006 ADTR have been making songs with this sound since 2003 or so, So no.
@@jlowe92 You have zero idea of how ADTR truly sounds if you are saying this.
Imagine saying that The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle sounds exactly like this or like FiR
This is Another BANGER HELL YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do really enjoy this song and it's certainly a big step up from most of what You're Welcome had. With that said, it does feel a little bit more generic and kinda lacks a little bit of that ADTR energy, which oddly enough I think the better songs on YW actually captured well. Mostly just feels like a solidly written modern metalcore/pop metal song rather than a classic ADTR song.
despite its flaws I think You’re Welcome had really great production and I’m glad they’ve transferred it to this new music too
@Madden 07 Soundtrack Fan Account [Kendrick AOTY] I felt it sounded much clearer and cleaner than their previous works
@Define The Great Line Fan Account [2-2] I personally had no qualms with You're Welcome and actually enjoyed it. It's by no means my favorite ADTR album, but I did enjoy the work. Sounded great live when I saw them last October. Honestly, until today (which is VERY far off from the release of that album), I had no idea anyone hated it and only found that out because I was studying and listening to a playlist of ADTR and happened to see a comment that led me down a rabbit hole lmao. Still, I can see where some may feel it fell flat, but I am also the guy that found a way to enjoy new Linkin Park music (Living Things) and new Paramore music (self-titled album).
Notification hit so had to get in.This song is an absolute banger been on repeat since yesterday.Very excited to see what they got in store moving forward
I loved this breakdown so much, the rest of the track also just flows really nicely. Definitely nothing experimental but a solid banger nevertheless, I've been listening to it on repeat the last few days.
The verses at first didnt click with me, loved the rest of the song instantly, but the verses grew on me, its got a good mix of heavy in with the melodic cleans. I absolutely love that chaos meets harmony, melodic vocals, and music, then heavy finishers to choruses, and breakdowns, release that adrenaline, then straight back into the melodic, the ability to go from clean vocals, straight to screams, and straight back into the cleans, it gives goosebumps, and makes me feel a way that only metal can make me feel.
I heard this song and instantly thought to myself.. Hey grumpy sum bitch.. What do you think Bogdan would say about this song... So here I am. Love this kid! Always keeping it real, and not just saying what people want to hear, I don't always agree, but about 90% of the time I do! Keep it up, great stuff!
Definitely a top tier ADTR sound, 👌 for where they are in the game this late its a great song! Got the catchyness and the heavy spots, love that extended breakdown!
This is more so of what you'd expect from Architects. Considering their last album but I wasn't sold on "Tear Gas". When we were young is a solid 8/10 but curious about the rest of the album. ADTR definitely pushin p on this track
people talking like ADTR weren't the reason bands like I prevail, wage war, falling in reverse, etc exist
ADTR inspired those bands.
I was going to say something similar lol
THANK YOU FOR THE REACTION BRO😎 “This is my favorite band of all time, and no I did not enjoy most of the songs on Your Welcome”, early 2023 might be a new album probably.
💪💪⚡😎
Stellar piece of music all through. One of their finest tracks so far. That chorus is huuge. And I love an awesome breakdown!
Song of the year.
This is very Falling In Reverse and I’m pretty sure that’s due to Cody from Wage War’s involvement. That’s not a bad thing to me. It’s definitely better than the entirety of Your Welcome, with the possible exception of Resentment.
“some of us more than others” bogdan, i’m not sure why but i absolutely lost it at that. you are by far my favorite reaction channel
This one song is way better than their entire last album. Hopefully more of this to come. Adtr aren't really an innovative band, but hey have a certain sound and this fits well. Previous album not so much
I just fell in love with the chorus
Big fan of this track. I never expect anything groundbreaking from ADTR I love them for their catchy pop-punk choruses and reasonably chonky breakdowns and that is exactly what we got here
Thats why I really like Hard core's reaction. Purely no filter and will say what he think about the song in his own opinion honestly. Nice reaction, bro!
This was alright the breakdown seemed like they were pandering to the audience who cry for "heavy" but I loved what they were doing on You're Welcome. Maybe its just I'm not the new wave of metalcore. The FIR, Wage War, I Prevail vibe. it's just uninteresting and predictable, you could say the same for You're Welcome but that album was a fun album to jam to.
Yeah we have opposite opinions. I myself believed this song was hectares ahead of the shit heap that was YW, but to each their own.
I'm sorry, but I don't understand how "They're Back" when this is a brand new sound for them. Even though the sub genre is not as popular, ADTR has always been Easycore. I understand, but also don't understand how their last album got so much flack when in actuality it was closer to their original sound than whatever this is. This production reminds me of Architects, KOG, etc. I won't describe the sound, because it's guaranteed to upset a lot of fans. Anyway, it's a no for me dawg.
Remember the 10 year old girl who auditioned on AGT,she sung holler Roller by spiritbox .she just released her original music titled "Falling"
Sure it’s nothing insanely unique, but it’s a damn good hard rock/metalcore song. Definitely something to be proud of.
Best song I’ve heard in a long time!
Everyone saying "This sounds like Falling in Reverse" just move on. Yall are seriously just so egotistical with other bands. Just enjoy the song and love the fact that we get to hear something like this from ADTR. Stop comparing every band to another band. Yall are the problem with metalcore.
Wage War, Falling in Reverse, Memphis May Fire and now A Day to Remember. All of these bands are basically the same thing and produce the exact same music. The issue I have with ADTR is that they actually know how to make good songs. Permanent was on You’re Welcome and was a track that could have easily been on Bad Vibrations in terms of quality. This band needs to take out the synths, write a proper chorus which is what they were known for to begin with and keep Will Putney on cause it’s the only good decision they’ve made in the last 5 years.
I’ve been steadily getting into death core and heavier djent recently but there will always be room for this style of metalcore. Been listening to this on loop
I'm not surprised ADTR are going in that direction after You're Welcome. Definitely excited for the next singles!
Una parte del Riff suena muy similar a zombified de falling in Reverse XD
Much more solid than the stuff off their last album, but it reminds me a lot of modern Falling in Reverse (especially that chorus) in that it's alright, but it just kind of exists. The breakdown was really solid though. That metre switch-up is not something I expected from ADTR. Probably some of Alex's most interesting drumming he's done to date with a few of those licks.
You should check out Acres - Burning Throne
I'm so happy that they're back BABYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really good song. The breakdown changing up was really needed to push this song a bit. When ADTR plays triplets you know they’re done playing. Super excited to see what comes next. I remember Neil saying he was experimenting with drop F last year
I love this band, fuck haters, again its solid metalcore and i love it
True and agreed....Try a band called I Prevail...they are great too in this same subgenre.
ADTR is back going to banger again and then i love the breakdown so nasty & i love this song hell yeah 🤘👏🔥
Its generic but it doesn't hurt it at all, it's the good kind of generic.
Great song, finally a banger again. But it reminds me of the Memphis May Fire songs. And who also co-produced them? Cody Quistad. You can really really hear his influence. Really great but I don't know how long they can keep producing those songs until they all sound the same. Still a banger and better than the whole last album
It's ridiculous how accurately your perspectives reflect my own in regards to this track. You should check out their very first ever single Breathe Hope In Me to see exactly how far they've come
The song isn’t bad. Has a great chorus and the double breakdown was neat. I just think we should retire this formula already. It seems to work for every band that uses it though, so what do I know 🤷🏼♂️
Really goes to show just how not great the last album was when this song is so praised for them.
I call this the ‘falling in reverse’ formula 😂
It works because it isn't bad.
I like this song.
But I am careful with a new album (if it’s going to be released someday)
I really liked Resentment and was excited for the album… and we know how this turned out.
I’ll wait for more singles
Lol wtf is with all the cynicism in these comments. Only channel I’ve watched a reaction to this for where everyone is so indifferent.
This comes across as the same radio-rock with djectcore breakdown we've been hearing from so many artists. I don't dislike the song itself, but I dislike it as an ADTR song. I feel they chose to fall in line with a current popular sound instead of pushing the ADTR sound in a unique way. All that being said, Jeremy still kills the vocals here, especially at the end of the chorus.
You could seriously switch out Jeremy with Sam from Architects and the song would work just as well. It sounds like an Architects song to me
I didn't hate the last album, it was definitely more accessible and had a few songs that I actually like better than their older stuff. This song though is an absolute banger. I would love to see these guys live again.
It sounds a bit too generic-core i miss the pop punk elements in this track, but its definitely a step in the right direction
Generic song structure actually
