    Thanks; however, you are uploading an unsecured document to website and having that website password protect it. Doesn't make much sense as the website now has your sensitive document prior to encrypting it?????

      According to their website: Smallpdf is ISO/IEC 27001 certified and GDPR, CCPA, and nFADP compliant..
      They use 256-bit TLS encryption for secure information transfer.

      They say on the site that they do not retain your file, that it is deleted after one hour.

    If I'm selling a product, am I able to have different passwords? Or once a person buys the product, can they still share it?

    Not enough to convince me. If I’m uploading confidential files, show me a Soc2 Type2, what their secure software development lifecycle looks like, evidence my uploaded files are encrypted at rest, not getting backed up, and are deleted once download is complete or within 60 seconds. Maybe then….

      You can read their terms and decide for yourself. They state:
      "Smallpdf doesn't save any passwords and files are deleted permanently after one hour. All data transfers are handles through TLS encryption to ensure the safety of your data."

    Could you do a video, of how to password protect a folder? e.g. a folder inside of your external hard drive.

    Too many issues as per comments, but my two cents, I would prefer if you warned me about the sample advert being attached to my file, I specifically can't use it because of that and yes I can't undo because I have one trial? and now the websight has access to my files? What???

    Thank you so much 🙏 how can i embed audio or mp3 in my pdf and and send to customer by limiting access only paid customer?

    • @AureliusTjin
      @AureliusTjin  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Embedding media on a PDF cannot be done. You could create a flipbook instead to have those interactive elements. I’ve got a tutorial on it: czcams.com/video/bJqFNpdVUMU/video.htmlsi=coa6GOQFsUfrqw78
      To protect your digital products, your sales platform should be able to only deliver it to paid customers. Platforms include Gumroad, Payhip, Kajabi and many others.
