  • Earlier this year Julie Gautier and Behind the Mask premiered Narcisse, a contemporary interpretation of a classic myth about how ego is leading humanity to drown in its own image. In this short film directed by Stephan Richter, we follow the team making this project happen. A deep insight into personalities, story backgrounds and a collaboration which brought us closer together.

Amazing combination of human physical ability, artistry and technological know-how creates a magical performance by all involved. Thank you for this explanation of how it was done; it shows the work everyone did to create my favorite film of yours. I’m stunned by the beauty of “Narcisse”

It sure _is_ a beautiful film. I wasn't sure I wanted to 'see behind the scenes', but this was interesting. I still don't understand how many of the effects in Narcisse were made, and that's just fine. Mystery is valuable.

Создание данного фильма имеет два вывода: первый - это физиологические возможности организма при длительном нахождении под водой; второе - эстетическое значение, создание новой концепции, нового эгрегора в кинематографе - снятия фильма под водой.

I Never know but maybe it is relevant to feeling, some where under mind ,of new born child .After prolonged stay in underwater with no fresh air .Child never smile about in that moments . But adult people can . How long new born child can stay underwater with no air ?
