- WELCOME! It is Week #19 of our 2021 year-long Bible Journey with each of you going from Cover to Cover in the Scriptures. Bonnie & I are hosting this small group online for all who want an in-depth overview of Sacred history, Contextual background, Sacred geography, Vital Bible chapters, Vital theological doctrines, the Key Attributes of God, and all the Mega-themes of the Bible.
This week we do an overview of Proverbs and then dive into God's plan that we not be alone in life. He said it is not good to be alone but to have a helpmeet suitable for us. That is His wonderful plan for most believers throughout most of history. Not only is marriage blessed by God, but it is also part of His plan for reaching the world.
God designed marriage as one of the most public displays of His plan and purposes for the world to see.
We are to go out and live in a dark and hopeless world, chasing after elusive pleasures, and never finding lasting satisfaction: and RADIATE Christ.

You are very funny - about the second greatest day in the life and 'is this their second marriage?' When I became a Christian, my wife stopped treating me nice. In fact, she separated from me. I did not really know it would happen, but then again I really did not read the bible all the way through as I should have (Matthew 10:35, 36). But to tell the honest truth - after hearing your teaching about Proverbs 31 - I have to admit that I did not praise my wife as I should have. She did not submit and listen to me, but she knew no better (we came from a false church with a false woman counterfeit antichrist prophet; Adventist church is idol worship of EGW), but I did not praise my wife as much as you suggest this chapter says to do. This is my bad: I take responsibility for my deficit. Love the teaching, really enjoy the application methodology of studying the bible. Never quite understood devotionals, meditating and "eating God's word" till now, thanks so much!

The children of this world marry and are given in marriage and have children. But those that have been found worthy of this system (world) and the resurrection do not marry nor have need to reproduce there own kind for they cannot die anymore and are Sons of God .
