Its important that we balance the good with the bad and not just feast on negative all day long. I dont know about you but after doing the St Ann part, I was ready to book a flight. The story that follows has been on my mind for days now and again, just like the others , im trying to make sense of the nonsense. Big up and bless up people, unu walk good.

It's very sad. Heart breaker even. Smh. I am from Kingston originally and bought land in St Ann. I love it there. When I am in Jamaica and people visit, they don't want to leave. St Ann is indeed beautiful.

Keep up the good work I give you credit love you show I am a born Jamaica 🇯🇲 and live in the USA and are dying to go home but hearing certain things happen with Tori’s in Jamaican make me nervous I have not been back to Jamaica 🇯🇲 since the day I took my dad back home to berry him I am dying to go home for a visit I still have Cousen and friends home in Jamaica but I am a little afraid because some times you hear that is family members set up there own family death my daughter who love Jamaica want us to go for a visit but it is hard to fine people who you can trust now in this time I am from a little parish Westmoreland Negril Jamaica beautiful place and that is where I stayed whenever I visit home but a friend just told me that a lot of killing. Is happening in Negril now I know as a child growing up in the country that had always happen but he says it is going on more now that not even people that live there are afraid to go any ware out side there house if they don’t have to but in life we have to stop been afraid of letting social media control our life there are killing all over the USA Today and people are still trying to come here so I am goin home one of these days

This was a excellent history lesson on the beautiful parish of St.Ann, it is said to be the largest parish in Jamaica as well.
It is very unfortunate what happened to the mother that was murdered so brutally in what suppose to be the safety of her own home.
These criminals are so comfortable committing murder & crime because they know the odds of them getting caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law is slim in Jamaica. Too much wickedness and bloodshed on such a small island!!

@@negretaunstoppable2943 I love St Ann's my parents live there, months after they moved in, someone broke in their house. As soon as get out there,, i run down to the beach(10-15 min walk from the house) which is disappearing every time i go, sad.
The last time I was out there, a young man come ask me, if he could be my special friend, I had to tell him, they have man in England, if I want a special friend, I can find one there, the next day he was with a white American lady, spending off her holiday money, I just looked at him and laughed

Great one Souflo, a very constructive approach. St. Ann is rich in history. Runaway Bay has a tradition of free and forced departures. In 1655 Oliver Cromwell and John Hawkins expelled the Spanish from Jamaica. The last bastion were evicted in 1657. They ran away from Runaway Bay. On the other hand Souflo thanks for reiterating, calling their names and giving these victims a name and a face. Such videos should cause us jamaicans with conscience and dignity to reflect and want to become part of a positive change.
These stories are so heartbreaking. I'm truly terrified to visit my own country I've had numerous nightmares about Jamaica and I don't feel safe visiting. I think the only way I would feel comfortable is to have a license firearm.

I was to go to high school in JA. But my uncle said it was getting bad and that was in 2007.
I LOVED JA the first moment I stepped foot off the plane. The food, culture, music, and people were amazing.

There are examples of countries that have gone through genocide and are now the most peaceful countries in the world and it all came down to a leader who had the will to take direction. Rwanda is a classic example.

It's seem to me, that the murders are getting away with their crime, therefore, they just don't care, who they kill or how many they kill.

My brethren, I love my people, & my country & would give my life for them & it, my birthplace. I pay my taxes from London & want to see JA prosper. It's not us living abroad that's holding JA back, Its those there with little or no insights. Eight (8) yrs ago my wife & I were about to sell up return to JA with our sons to open businesses there & whilst they run the businesses, I would invest my skills & know how in the said =St Ann's community as a Probation Officer. I / we changed our minds. Y? for the same malignant issues that plagues our birthplace. That was that. We could have employed people who needs employment, but i didn't happened & isn't happening. May the perpetrators be swiftly brought to justice.This savagery contrasts so starkly with the beauty of the parish of StAnn.Its coastal areas are indeed beautiful but the verdant, rolling hills of the interior regions with their more quiet, rustic, "old world" communities hold their own charm. It is interesting to note the remarkable musical talent which emerged from that parish. Marcus Garvey was an especial gift which the parish gave to Jamaica and the world.

Jamaica need to be run like Texas law abiding citizens need to arm themselves. Even if you just use it for home protection. Jamaica need better prosecutors and witnesses protection program, see something say something culture. No one knows who is going to be next saying something may save your own life. This generation has to do away with the informer fi ded culture. Learn how to properly secure your door at night. Invest in cameras take selfdefence classes ect.
