what is the Bible's opinion? Pick a day. Some observe one day over another, others observe every day alike. So says the apostle Paul in the Bible. No need to argue over useless things when we need to be ministering to others.
Does the ministry still exist?
I only seen pastors and evangelists in churches
When a prophet comes around normally his doing sketchy warlock or witch doctor stuff
Like those people from Nigeria/Africa on CZcams
Claiming to be apostles and prophets with idolatry and Gucci pants and flashy clothes
And making false miracles with demonic people who come around around for demonic abominations and anointing…
Yes it still does, but rare and they typically don’t function in the institutionalized model we see in most churches today.
Pray to be led to real African ministries. Just as everywhere, there are plenty of Christian fakes, few really saved leaders.
But we can sometimes learn from even the fakes. Derek Prince is real, very helpful. There are others. Pray and let yourself be led to the real.
Otherwise you will just be a critic, and not be ones who does what he hears of the word of God.
I think false prophets cut across. They are many here in the USA. You just have to test the spirits they work with.
I think prophecy is based on a simple: what you do to others will happen to you also in time.
