Agreed. Roman can you do a episode with all the skeleton dial royal oaks side by side. The new ceramic release has me itching for one now.
Roman can you talk more in depth about the AP movements and how that effects value? Don’t you think the new ones will retain value much better with the more reliable movements.
As a collector I want full set Roman, and that is what I pay for.

I took your advise and traded in multiple watches to purchase the AP royal oak volcano from Seth at Essential Watches in Beverly Hills
According to my AP boutique guy, rubber clad replacement for the steel version is 2k USD. You throw in the buttons and crown.... service cost is and will always be super expensive.

Oh man the offshore is by far my favourite watch. I recently realised you can buy at a decent price used. How is availability for a brand new one?
I have the offshore I purchased a few years back grey market paid 12k at the time. (Great deal) Another Sleeper I have is the Rolex datejust turn-o-graph 2011 model they re-released it I think in 2003 and discontinued 2011. Beautiful Sleeper, I have the black face roulette date in red. And red ticker.✊🏾 Great video

Last Phillips Geneva Auction in Nov a End of Days was sold for 36.000 $
Used to own a customized Navy and sold it shortly after I seen the prices dropped. Couldn't stand ,it went to 13k

The AP is like the Porsche GT3 or GT three RS. Anyone can buy on a regular 911 but very few people are able to buy GT three. AP are almost as expensive asPatek .

Hi Roman, Love you reviews and really help me alot. I'm looking to buy an Audermars Piguet Royal Oak Off Shore Ref:25770ST dated around 1999-2003 old style strap like End of Days. With the watch being around 20 years old are there any down sides to this and do they suffer any problems? Ie not being wound and stored for a considerable amount of time?

If u opt for ROO 3126 enhancement, AP will reduce 59jewel to 54jewel, the watch gets lighter, the min hand jump everytime u adjust the time.....

I just picked one up... Rolex (really every brand) has a tendency to favor blue dials long term for price appreciation.
Does the white gold aspect hinder this growth, or do you think it'll be a sound piece to keep?

Timothy - your comment implies that you think Tudor are masters of their own fate. They’re not - they are a subsidiary of Rolex so Rolex will ultimate,y decide on Tudor’s price point, sales strategy etc.

service costs of AP's are ridiculous - u need +3k just to get it serviced....
not true. my black ceramic diver went to service recently and it cost 1200 CHF incl polishing the ceramic and the titanium parts as I had managed to get scratches in. I basically got back a new watch. runs like a charm now.
If you mess it up but routine 1200 plus 900$ rubber gaskets (a must change) they give you $350-400 credit for replacing) total it was around $2000tax and shipping but 1200$ is the standard
are there people who believe 25K is affordable but 30K is not?
