Zambales Rainy Road Trip No. 14 : OLONGAPO CITY
Our last stop for our Zambales road trip is the Highly Urbanized City of Olongapo.
The City of Olongapo is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines. Located in the province of Zambales but governed independently from the province, it has a population of 260,317 people according to the 2020 census.
As the first chartered city and highly urbanized city in its province, Olongapo's reputation among Filipinos rose from being a "sin city" in the 1960s and 1970s into a "model city" in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s.

Olingapo City is also independent from the province of Zambales since HUC sya. Dalawa kasi yung Independent City within Central Luzon isa yubg Angeles
