If you are a new golfer or looking to get better then this is your guy. He is the only instructor i can watch after seeing tons and tons of videos. This guy is REALLY good at explaining everything in a way that even the beginners can understand. Alot of people can play really good golf, but it takes a certain method to teach good golf and Clay has nailed it.

May 10th i shot 41-39 for a nice 80. Lowest round this Century - 1981 started at 16. i am 56. only had one round lower in my life. Between you and one other channel, I give the majority of credit to TOP SPEED GOLF for giving me a more precise set of "feels"! To date I have not really got in many reps or drills - i just go play golf and often the warming up is the first 3-5 holes. I just recently ordered your system and am completely happy with the content and format. I see the 70's in my future.....it will be 90-100F in Houston....but i will be a very happy golfer! Thank you SIR!

Does it apply just to mid irons? Or to driver and woods too?

Just started playing golf 2 months ago and watched a lot of Clay's videos. I've been doing this move by exaggerating it, but wasn't sure if it was good or bad since no other instructors had talked about it in this manner. Now I know. Thank you! 1,270 views in less than a day. Wow!

I never had lag or swung through the ball, I hit the ball and kind of stopped. No distance not consistant at all. Now I have lag and swing through. It sounds good when I hit it now, no more hands stinging from all the bad miss hit, even if I do get a little deep it still goes straight. I`m 58 and this is the best swing I ever had. I love this guy. They should call it the golf genius channel. His teaching are very easy to impliment into your swing

This is a great feeling, but I do feel like you have to explain rotation more. Most golfers don't rotate (open) their hips through impact so that they can actually make this move. When I finally learned how to properly rotate you find that it is very easy to get into the positions that everyone looks for at impact.

I've been looking into the types of releases to hopefully find one that suits me best or helps me the most. It may be irrelevant, but how would this type of release be classified? The three types I've been seeing out there the most are the Slap Hinge (which I don't think you're showing here), the Crossover, and the Push Release. Maybe a combination? I'm just the kind of person that is able to make more gains with better understanding driving the pursuit. Thanks for everything.

Clay, thank you so much for posting this. I practiced it for the last two days and my golf swing has turned upside down on it's head. I'm now hitting tour quality shots 90% of the time. And that remaining 10% is just old habits creeping through like overswinging or flipping that will take a little time to work out of my nerves.
I feel like I'm a true golfer now. I now KNOW how to hit a perfect golf shot because of your instruction. Previous to that, it was always luck; it was always a mystery as to why I would fail or succeed.
I have it down. BRO HUGZ!!! You just changed my life!

I understand what you're getting at but PGA pro's typically aren't making all of their money from CZcams. A lot of the ones we see here are great instructors giving us a lot of valuable info for free. And the free info isn't personalized for any single one of us. It's part info to help us "try" to self-diagnose, part advertising for their actual businesses, and part a demonstration of their value as instructors. If you've ever taken some lessons from different pro's you know that some pro's aren't as effective in helping as others are in the instructional world.

I don't hear any mention of what state of health the golfer needs to be in before attempting this. Did you ever stop to think that some people don't swing "correctly" because their body will not allow it? What if someone tries your technique and injures themself as a result? This swing is not "easier". The easiest swing is likely the one the golfer already has, right or wrong. Downvoted for inaccuracy.
