REEEE- its done! This project is like.. my love letter to the series, the cast and the community as well ! . The amount of creative inspiration I got from this series is insane... I’ve made so many fanarts.. I dont think I've done a project that took this long.. quite an experience lol

This is a great balance between the two extremes that Life series animations normally fall into - incredible fun or full on Shakespearean tragedies. Each scene is treated with a certain level of seriousness, but the characters still have such a pumped-up energy. Not to mention the artwork itself, which is crisp, dynamic, and so full of detail! And it's clear who's who in each scene, even if I never watched or don't remember EVERY event. Hat's off!

I really don't have time to rant about how much I love this rn, but since you asked so nicely lol I do wanna to draw attention to my favourite thing I noticed throughout the video which was your use of the foreground and cinematic camera angles.
As someone who is studying film making & cinematography I really admire (nerded out over to my brother lmao) how much effort you put into this, for example your use of motivated camera movement in the transition with etho at 0:13 and many more places throughout the animatic such as 0:35 with lizzy
And i cannot express how much i love your composition, like at 0:40 when tango hit the wall. That has to be one of my favourite overall scenes. (No1 favourite scene has to be 1:32 tho lol)
But also I love how you placed Pearl at 1:27 and directly after the scene with BigB and using a low angle shot after his high angle which really added to the impact. And when the bad boys fell out of the sky lmao
Andddd how you shifted the focus from the foreground to the subject (bow, to scar) at 1:56 and in other places tooo like 1:22
AND your use of two shots (and also insert shots), like when he placed his hand on the hilt of his sword at 0:20 or 0:28
Not to mention the mannyyyyy more incredible uses of cinematography throughout the video and how amazing you actual drawing skills are in general (kudos to the thumbnail art mhmhm) and how smooth and natural all of your movements are!! Like how they draw weapons from their inventory or just the clothes blowing in the wind has me in awe.
And the sword fight at 0:54 is so amazing! (Had to get a notable mention)
But also the underwater scenes actually feel underwater, which is so awesome
I can say with the utmost certainty that this is a _masterpiece!_

my favorite part is legit just that they all look like they're having fun xD i feel like fan stuff for the life series gets a little too dark with it (which can be fun sometimes! don't get me wrong!) but it's so pleasing to see the characters all look like they're playing a game! and having fun! even with some serious moments. It feels very true to the actual series.

I feel like most of that comes from martyns lore stuff. In his lore these are death games that they are trapped in that Character Grian is trying to get them out of.
But I do agree that the lighter approach is nice to see. Especially because of how light-hearted and chaotic the players are.

I literally had to slow down the video to examine each scene, it's so good. I absolutely lost it at Etho sprinting away full speed, Rens face to being shoved back, Cleos resignation to everything. Literally every single one is so funny, I watched this part over and over and the devolve from chill to sheer chaos and panic in just three frames is top tier lmao

2:10 I love that. Their expressions being so serious/grim is such a good contrast. The amount of emotion and the fact that they all looks like they’ve been fighting really highlights the hunger games kinda feel that the series has undertones of. I think it really represents that aspect of the more lore/roleplay side of it all and the expressions are so in character. I’ve found a lot of the winner art/animatics don’t have such vivid facial expressions so this is really cool to see drawn!
It’s also so fun to try and figure out all the scenes and where/when they’re from. Such a good animatic! All the little details are so cool too.

YO, THIS IS AMAZING NOX!!!!! The transitions and the correspondence between the music is absolutely INSANE!!! WELL DONE!!!
When they showed all the winners, I loved how in the background were memories of the SMP they won in like Grain had the cactus and the sapling and Scott had the axolotl and the potions and Pearl had Tilly and a photo of her tower and Martyn had his hourglass and coral
I realised in everyone of them there’s the weapon they used to get their win, their base and an object/animal that played a big part in their POV, the detail is so amazing it’s unbelievable

This is so incredibly well done! Even down to which bits of each series you selected to go with the music. So many details that are amazing, but I think that your depiction of Ren as the unhinged bloodthirsty Red King, and the shot of Jimmy accidentally touching and detonating the TNT minecarts are probably my favorite. Absolutely nailed their expressions and tensions.
And, of course, as usual, your Tango animation is peerless, duh.
This is indeed top tier and i havnt even watched any of it, hoping to get into it with Secret Life.
I just wanna point out that through all the action scenes, NONE of them have Mumbo. does he just not get into battle? or were none of his scenes good enough?

@@penguin_reader_yt9510 Yeah no, he didn't do much battling in the series he was in, which was Last Life. The main things he did were that he was the first (And so far only) person in the Life Series to craft and use end crystals, he killed Bdubs with one as the boogeyman, he and Grian had a dramatic standoff when Grian turned red, and then Grian killed him after killing Jimmy because Mumbo tried to avenge him.
I just think he didn't get many chances for a fight scene because he died second, but maybe he'll get more chances in Secret Life :)

it's such a small moment that i just noticed after multiple rewatches but i love that etho disappears in the last frame at 2:24 (well, his foot is still there). Idk it feels like he doesn't tend to get a lot of cool lore interpretations so even just seeing something as small as "he's a ninja so he go zyoom" is fun to see depicted
I think Bang is now the official song of the life series now
Have already replayed this entire thing frame by frame and I'm in love with every single piece of it. Lost my mind a little at the last three images though, they tell such an adorable lil story! Bdubs just absolutely clueless off to the side, Scott and Pearl both having a really just chill "fine I'll be in the picture" energy, Scar annoying Grian, Martyn pushing Ren out of the way, Cleo resigned to her fate, Tango just fully tackling Impulse, Etho being the ONLY one to notice the TNT in time, it's just so perfect! Beautifully done, I could go on for ages on all the details in other scenes, but I won't.

Things that filled me with impossible amounts of joy:
- Scott being all proud of his lil house!
- Tango's hair!
- All of the impeccable fight choreography!
- The strings snapping on the TNT trap!
- Scar having no shirt true to canon lol
- The contrast at 1:02 of Scott's "oh no" face and Grian's "oh YES" face!
- Mumbo with an end crystal, could he look any cooler?!
- The wither heads moving in time with the lyrics of the song going "bang bang bang" was so fun XD
- The whole warden sequence, it's so goood!
- Tango and Jimmy just chilling on the line "I'm up to something"
- Etho sensing a disturbance in the force lol
- The birds flying away and the trees rustling to alert the other members
- The warden's glowing chest in the darkness!!!!
- Jimmy and Tango tripping over themselves while running away grinning like the lil gremlins they are was like my favorite moment of the entire AMV
- The Bad Boys falling from the sky, and Grian's respective panic when he first comes into view lolllll
- Ren reflected in Martyn's axe!
- I may have lost it a lil at the faces when the desert exploded, it was far more true to canon than we like to acknowledge lol
- The winners' sequence with all its little details like the changing outfits and symbols in the background!
- And of course, the stunning thumbnail art, it's so beautifully done!

This is the best animatic I have ever seen on CZcams!! Literally every scene is so well animated and drawn, the fight scenes are so fluid and dynamic and the perspectives used are out of this world!! This must have taken such an incredibly long time to do, I must imagine, with how absolutely breathtaking this entire thing is. The character designs, as well, are amazing. Absolutely fantastic!!! I hope the entire cast sees this.

The part I liked???? It never stopped! This is INSANE. Somehow every scene felt like a fresh take on the content, even if I'd seen it before. The movement was impeccable. Not overly gory but without flinching from it. The facial expressions, the FIGHT SCENES! The beautiful painting on small details like the Warden, something so full and different from the characters, the heartbeat in the dark. Just enough time to place a scene before the action happened, but it never dragged!
I am begging you. On my hands and knees. For a director's commentary for this. Please. I'll write a whole 5 page MLA essay to earn it.

I got to give so much props to you; the facial expressions of everyone is just *chef's kiss*. I kept replaying Skizzleman's face when the explosion scared him from behind🤣🤣
The micro story in the three coloured drawings at the end is just the cherry on top of this masterpiece. The change from the first to second alone tells so much about the character relationships. And after watching it like five times, I am still not sure whether Etho dropped the TNT or just saw it and dipped in the third, but either way is so funny!

This is immediatly going into one of my all time favorite animatics. The way you draw expressions and movement is so real and you can convey emotions so well. Your a HUGE inspiration for me and I can only see your work getting better and better from here. This is a crazy project but hopefully worth all the effort you put in. I am going to be staring at this for the next 12 years.
