This is really nuts. I actually have a water separator in-line to help avoid this problem of water in tanks. But also water in the line as you use it via a hose. You don’t want water entering into the hoses. My compressor still gets some water in tank but not too bad. I’m in same type of weather. It’s a speedaire

I open my valve at least once a week if not more- I never did that before having to overhaul a relatively new compressor when it wouldn’t build pressure past 40PSI

You should decompress and drain your tank after every job.

Be careful- I think ur supposed to make sure it’s non-detergent oil… it should say so on the back if it’s good for air compressors.
