Love Thy-Self As Thy-Itself Loves You
Love, is a malleable expression,
that word gets tossed about and flung in all directions.
Although people say they know but I think only seldom understand,
while some seek it using their heart as a compass throughout all the land.
Yes it is shown in many gestures and fashions,
I have seen it in many forms and actions.
Often it has let me down but one source proved to be true,
Love thy-self as thy-itself loves you.
Thy-self, I embarked to find or better described along the lines of rediscover,
before I proceeded a harsh truth I came to realize; that I was the only one allowed to go forth spirit said no other.
Solely eager like a fool on the edge of a cliff, without a conscious second thought, I leaped and subsided down a fathomless abyss. Engulfed in a void with a cloak of darkness I wore,
as I drifted down; all I wanted was love and something to adore.
Alienated from everything and thought nothing more,
a beam of light punctured me like a sword.
I became illuminated in the darkness; ascending out of the abyss with these wings I grew,
love thy-self as thy-itself loves you.
As, if source appointed me to transmute the darkness to light,
only to be looked at wrong when doing what I felt was right.
Forever I wondered if I deserve all this injustice,
that when I try to heal my people; all of my forgotten pain resurface.
Going forth into battles with these traumas I healed,
using divine wisdom and love to deflect negativity like a protective shield.
Was I consumed with too many defects that I had to be broken and made new,
love thy-self as thy-itself loves you.
Thy-itself, that remarkable source of being in which manifested itself by its own accord;
in various forms,
the thing that loved itself so selfless that it gifted us a little portion of its own existence on the day we were born.
Yet from that time we came until the time we must go,
each of us a mission to expand its own agenda within this ebb and flow.
To participate in the great debate of opposite topics and diverse dualities to try and define what we call reality.
So many lost in a maze to gain fulfillment not knowing that the pursuit would be halted by its own predestined fatality.
Only to be disappointed at the fact that the fulfillment sought was not external but rather internal; that was the first clue,
love thy-self as thy-itself loves you.
Love, has left me damaged and broke my soul
Other handedly love has mended me together and made me whole.
Love exist from thy-itself then expands universal,
that love extended is trapped in time and is not reversible.
Does life love death so devotedly it gives itself up only to be inhaled,
what if life knew that; would it tuck his tail and bail?
Could that be why there is a heaven and hell? The answer to that thy-itself must not tell,
if it's all predestined why must I dedicate my all but in the end still feel like I failed?
Thy-self told me to just have faith and all shall be well,
because of the one called to be stretched on a tree fastened by a few nails.
So carry your cross with honor we must do, love thy-self as thy-itself loves you.
You, I see and thy-self and thy-itself reflects from inside as well generated outside.
Trying to understand how we can interact harmoniously as the ocean tide,
then at other times we parlay like lightning and thunder,
as fragments of thy-self plunder,
to the ground because of our collide.
When studying my life existence and thy fate is judged and tried,
may thy last act of faith be to give thee all the glory, to call thy-itself home for all eternity,
shall I there abide.
Thy-self's grandest submission to thy-itself is for thy-itself will to take precedence over thy-self's desired will.
To surrender all control to a force outside of thy-self to provide evidence and assurance in a measurement of unwavering faith, that capacity of trust is surreal.
Yes, that's what thy-self pleaded to thy-itself when it called home the greatest love thy-self ever knew,
