Fun fact about the bugatti chiron when they were filming they weren't able to keep up with it because it was so fast so they set up a rig on another bugatti chiron to film it while driving

hoonicon is geared like a rally car its usual top speed is 135 mph but since hes created a new drag racing series they geared it too top out at 165 mph

The thing people forget about the chiron, and before it, the veyron, is that those cars aren't aerodynamically optimized, because bugatti/vw had aesthetics as a priority.

@@jaxsonfloyd5825 I don't have anywhere near as much faith in Hennessy as Koenigsegg or Bugatti, for Bugatti to be like nah we'll leave it at 304mph in the preferred direction, not go against the tarmac grain, wind and avoid an accident. SSC did their fraudulent run and the driver was worried at 240mph let alone another 90mph on top. Even if they kept going I feel like the SSC would struggle to do 300 if it can at all. The Hennessy I think will beat the SSC but it's American so they'll probably just try and bullshit a record

This isn't even the fastest car in the world though. The Tuatara broke the record a couple months ago but nearly 20 mph and it was climbing so fast that they just ran out of road for it to keep accelerating. The Speedometer was still climbing roughly 20 mph every second.
