How to install the Payment Terminal iWL250 WiFi
Get started in 11 easy steps to install Terminal iWL250 WiFi Plug & play
1. Check the contents of the box:
(1) Payment terminal iWL250
(2) Battery pack
(3) Adapter
(4) 3x Electrical plugs
2. Place your payment terminal (1) near an electrical
socket.
3. Open the cover on the bottom of your payment terminal by pressing the two clips. Connect the battery pack (2) as shown in image 2. Plug the battery pack plug in the socket until you hear it click. Then place the battery pack in the payment terminal. The payment terminal will automatically turn on. Put the cover back on
the payment terminal.
4. After a short start-up process, the text ‘Insert new paper roll. Press button…’ will appear. Press any button.
5. The following instruction will appear on your payment terminal screen: ‘Terminal is locked! Please enter terminal unlock pin to unlock terminal.’ Enter the Transport Password that was sent to you by email. The payment entry screen will appear. Put the cover back on the terminal. 6. . Click the Dutch electrical plug (4) into the adapter (3) and connect the adapter to the payment terminal using the socket on the left side of the payment terminal.
7. Connect the adapter to the power supply socket.
8. To connect the payment terminal to the desired WIFI signal, follow the next steps in the menu: press the right button below the screen / Settings / Communication / WIFI settings / Profiles / New profile / Automatic scan. After a few moments, a list with the available networks appears. Select your WIFI-network. Then follow the steps for the specific network.
- If you are asked if your access point is hidden, choose ‘No’.
- When you are asked which encryption type you want to apply,
choose ‘WPA2PSK’, unless your WIFI uses one of the other encryption types.
9. You will be asked to enter the WIFI-password. Use the keyboard to enter the WIFI-password.
- Press a key several times to select letters in lower case or capitals.
- To select symbols, press ‘.’ several times until you find the symbol you are looking for.
- Use the yellow button (＜) to correct your entry. Press the green button (O) the confirm the password.
10. The profiles screen will appear. You can check the connection to your selected network has been made at the top of the screen.
11. Press the red button (X) several times until the home screen appears.
