I’m from and live in Houston,Tx and y’all don’t know what heat IS until you’ve lived here with 100% humidity most of the time at 100+ temperatures in the summer time! Winter time is worse…colder here at 30 degrees above zero with the humidity and the rain than when I lived in Denver back in the 70s with all the snow! Seriously! Trying to sell Pepsi cola for a living back then was a pain in the rear, too! 😂 During my 38 years in trucking I spent a lot of time at all the truck stops in Cheyenne, but, sadly, I never got to see much of Cheyenne as a tourist. Be happy you live in Cheyenne…Houston is too big, too expensive, too crime-ridden, too mean, too dirty, and, frankly, just SUCKS!…I know bc I’ve lived here for 70 years! Stay safe! ~Jim~

Hey there, I currently live in Central Texas and I just can't stand this heat anymore either, you know how are winter can be in texas, not blizzards by any means but do you think wyoming would be a good place to move to from here or would the winter be to much of a change?

@@BillyMayhem2000 Well, as a retired truck driver having spent 38 years over the road, all over our country, I can say I liked Wyoming…however, traveling on I-80 either east or west the winds can be quite nasty practically blowing one’s car into the next lane or possibly off the road. It happened to me, pushing my truck and trailer, AND, load MANY times into the next lane. The people there are generally very friendly and seem to always want to help someone in need. The winters are pretty harsh that causes road closures with all the snow and ice [and don’t forget the winds I mentioned that add to the winter also]. I hope this helps. Google anything else that you may need to know. Have a great day!

Living in Wyoming is Difficult enough for sure, I lived in the State for over 25 years got out in 2016 just in time, before it started to Fall apart, The Entire State is in Economic Free Fall, Serious Unemployment issues plague the State, with many towns that have no jobs what so ever, of any type, Towns such as Rock Springs, Green River and Rawlins are on the verge of Collapse, people are moving out of these towns in large numbers, The Oil and Gas Industries have fallen apart, and so have the jobs that once paid well, never to return. Cheyenne has a serious Unemployment Problem and its getting worse, add the fact that it is Crazy Expensive to live there, Rents are Sky High, and Power Bills, Utility Bills can easily exceed $ 600 to well over $ 900 Per Month even for small homes and apartments, make it even worse The lack of good Restaurants, Shopping, adds to the problem. Crime is becoming an issue in Cheyenne as well, Meth, has been a problem for years in the Town , and is getting worse as well. There are so many better places to live than Cheyenne, This is why people are moving out of Cheyenne, in numbers as well as Places like Casper, Sheridan, and Gillette, all these Towns are Bad News and should be avoided.

Is this correct or have they shut down the whole system? I was hoping to catch the bus as it arrives. Do I have to call ahead for every stop?
