Their relationship is perfect. Mi-jeong's using him as a spirit bomb to build up her courage whilst Mr. Gu can't help but be drawn to how good she makes him feel. Mr. Gu himself is like a blank canvas and every episode he gives us a single mesmerizing stroke of paint as we anticipate the picture his character eventually creates.

Seon seok goo is insane. Every smirk.. every facial expression is priceless. He hasn't had many lines and yet his character is so layered and feels so interesting. And Kim Jiwon..I think this is next next best character to that one in Descendants. Or maybe I love Mi jeong more

What I like so much about their relationship is that it isn’t the typical romance you see these days. Their love is so silent, yet you can feel it warming your heart. It isn’t so loud or showy, where they say i love yous or do so much skinship. It shows how love can be seen while eating a meal, or just by being there for someone. They are both so silent about what they feel that when there is a sudden confession, it is enough to make me squeal like a teenager. The type of love that is silent yet so loud.. I wish I can have that someday.

I think they're more like soulmates than lovers and I love that so much. I don't need a "boyfriend" or a romantic love. I want someone to stay by my side. We would talk, we listen, we understand, we heal each other.
They really defined 'worship me' to a whole another level.
The build up to their relationship is so unique. 8 episodes in, there is zero skinship, no kiss scene let alone a hug scene but the chemistry n intensity is off the chart insane. Their conversation, whether it's deep, whimsical or frivolous, is so immersive that I can't get enough. I can listen to them talk in that intimate n quiet tones forever. I love this pairing so much! I like how their relationship is built through deep conversations and connections, not physical attractions. It’s really normal to fall for another person by their appearance, but this couple has a more realistic way of love, that’s why i enjoy watching this story so much. I could empathized their relationship because its built through mutual respect, deep connection and ultimately making both a better person. I love how their relationship doesn’t require skinship, and the definition of worship in the context of love is amazing. I am in fact a yang yang couple fan, watching this relationship is very different from Lovestruck in the City.

The buildup in this one is really good.But the characters in Lovestruck in the City are also realistic.
I usually cringe at romantic scenes but never in this series, it has such a nice build up that it feels natural
This is one of the best chemistry in kdrama. They don't even talk at first, only gaze to each other yet the chemistry is so strong. Very small lovey dovey moment yet you can really feel the love. Great actors they are!!
When he said "Yeom Mijeong, you should know who you are" and you see a little shift in her expression n her eyes tear up a bit. I absolutely love that! Kim Jiwon is really good in microexpression, her acting is very delicate. And she's so freakin beautiful that whatever expression she does, it's such a joy to look at her face. I love this tandem so much
i love all the times when he just casually says this is me worshipping you. his actions are so ordinary yet as soon as he says that he was worshipping her, it somehow becomes extraordinary. i hope they stay together!

I love this drama. I love the family dinner scenes where nobody’s talking. I love the slow pace of every scene with Mi-Jeong and Mr. Gu. I love the father, he hardly has any lines but his tired weary sunburned/tanned face says so much.

To those who said the drama is boring and slow, it’s just cause you can’t relate. You’ll see how amazing this drama is if you can relate to it in one way or another. The drama is so good and the character development between these two is so amazing. Their relationship is intense yet subtle. They make you feel what they’re acting. It’s so amazing! I have seen all the highest rated dramas, and also dramas of various genre .....i don't know what genre this drama belongs to but I finally found my type of drama... At one point I really wished for this drama to have 100-something episodes... It's just their daily life and them coming and going to work and back , spending their daily life together, the silence between different casts etc was so calming and satisfying..... I know you guys won't know what I am talking about.pls give it a try

I think this is the “slice of life” type of drama that the Koreans do so well but not enough of (or maybe I don’t get a good enough selection where I am). My favourites are Be Melodramatic (or Melo is my romance) the writing is amazing; Because this is my first life; When the Weather is Fine (very slow pace).
It's definitely a "slice of life" genre, subtype "extremely slow pace"... Compared with other dramas. Theres a certain cinematic quality to how this drama is produced.

Mr Gu who’s been thru and thru is scared of Mijeong. Meanwhile, Mijeong who’s always quiet at work and at home, who doesn’t know how to chase her money back, is not afraid of Gu.

Knowing his past, he is used to give orders and is always the boss but here when Mi jeong asked him for water he just smiles like it's supposed to annoy him but he is amazed at what Mijeong can do to him.

One of my favourite kdrama of all time..not throwing shade but the rich guy with perfect character and talkative fun girl is starting to bore me. Dramas that was so popular like true beauty and business proposal seem too far fetched to relate to. This drama is show how in reality most people live and thats what I love about it. The lines in this drama are all so relatable its soo good. And these two is so comfortable with their silence its the kind of love I wish I have.

I never even imagined him as a male lead before this.... He is so perfect for playing negetive roles..... But he proved that he could be better even as a male lead.... I wouldn't mind watching him more as a male lead actor.....
I love this drama. He is absolutely perfect. Son Suk-ku and Kim Ji-won's performances are an explosion of chemistry and talent. The script, the development of the characters make sense and I feel everything so close, so real and true. I cry in many, many scenes because everything in this drama is close and reminds us of ourselves and our relationships and human desires for care and love. I love this drama so much. I'm always reviewing and thinking about everything he presents us. It is human, all too human.
People doesn't really like this kind of drama. But this is good, this is how some people's life. They have their own problem and secret. Like us
ITS HERE MY HEART MY HEART MY HEART! I love how they didn't follow a certain formula for them to be declared as a couple. They just declared it by themselves and even they themselves are unsure of what they have with each other but they find comfort and peace when they're side by side. NO SKINSHIP JUST SOFT STARES AND DEEP TALKS AND THESE TWO ARE KILLING ME FOR REAL, I'm not ready for the day when they finally decide to hold hands or hug or even kiss, I might be combusting by then.
I'm obsessed with this series. For those who are undecided whether to watch the series, I recommend watching it and giving it a try. The series varies from episode to episode and I have not seen such a special and sensitive series in a long time. The dialogues are amazing and I stop every minute to fully understand What did the screenwriter mean by her screenplay. A lot of people can identify with the characters ... the difficulties, the dilemmas, and the desire for change. Really this series needs more views.

@@pakhi5073 The first few episodes are different from the later episodes. The series develops and you can see how the characters are released and change. After the first episodes in the series, the colors also change. At first the series is in brown and gray colors and as the characters evolve the colors Become colorful and really shine. So even if you have a hard time watching the first few episodes I encourage you to keep watching and see what happens to the characters. And I like to try to understand the idea that the creators meant when they created the series.That's why I write like this..or it's the atmosphere of the series that influenced me :) and thanks for your response it was really fun to read it like this all of a sudden.

Mr.Gu's chrachter on of the unique character in dramaland. The way he looks at jiwon is so attractive and cute.. his words are sensitive and deep. His unexpected direct words are so beautiful than other flirting words... and jiwon... Truly amazed by the performance of Kim Ji Won and Son Seok Goo. A perfect couple is one who can help their partner to get into and immerse in the right emotion and true feelings (on top of their own delicate performance). KJW did a great job in naturally bringing out Mr. Gu’s emotions and charisma - not by any skinship but just eye contacts!!! SSK’s affectionate facial expression is of coz fabulous!!!

Watching SonSukKu act is like watching a piece of living art, he takes care of Every detail to such length is unbelievable.
The characters create wave after wave of resonance in me that I couldn’t help to watch repeatedly the episodes, trying to look for details which I may hv missed. Bravo!
I love their story in this. It’s not an ideal relationship with a lot of passion but a lukewarm one that takes one step at a time. A silent give and take without sugarcoating and expectations. They both know they have issue and they both teach each other to take a step to resolving them. It’s pretty powerful. All the Yeo siblings have beautiful metamorphosis. This series has left so many questions in my mind that I enjoy interpreting and thinking about.

This drama is extremely refreshing… it’s so realistic seems like am really there at the farm at the office in the subway …. What has come together is extremely excellent role play by each of the artists…. Let us not forget the real star here … writer Park Hae-Young. Many of us are fans because of My Mister and another Oh Hae Young. Always the whole cast of characters is well-drawn … real, flawed and human.
I really cant with this 2. This drama is the first time i know SSK and he's a splitting image of my ex. i have fond memory of him so i cant help to like SSK. Daamn! Even the way he smile and closing his eyes is the same, its like what KJW said "adorable".
I also love KJW here reminds me to Yoo Rachel. She's cold and demanding and sometimes her stare feels like a stab. I like how her brother told Gu that she's almost a psycho because when she's mad, she cant stop.
