    Infos about the song:
The Izmir/Smyrna March or Flowers bloom in the mountains of Izmir/Smyrna, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Pasha March is an anthem in nihavend mode about the entry of the Turkish army into Izmir during the War of Independence.
The story of the Caucasus March in historical records is as follows: 'Islamic Army' was a military unit affiliated with the Eastern Army Group of the Ottoman Empire. The army under the command of Minister of War Enver Pasha won the Battle of Baku and entered Baku on September 15, 1918. It is estimated that the composer of the anthem, İzzettin Hümayi Elçioğlu, fought on this front even though he was 38 years old at that time.
According to the news on the Odatv website, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality announced that the anthem was composed by German composer Kurt Striegler in 1923, the notes remained lost for a long time and were found in 2007. This anthem is a different anthem. The Turkish Izmir March has music by Kurt Striegler and lyrics by Mustafa Nermi. It was composed in 1923. It was first played in Dresden, Germany, on June 29, 1923.

Good video, but this song is Kemalist and Republican, so it doesn't really have that much to do with the Ottomans

Not really, this song was written one year before the end of the monarchy, moreover the republic of Kekal was illegitimate

And yet the song is Kemalist and Republican, there was many communist songs writen in and during empires/times when that specific country wasn't communist, but this doesn't mean we would need to put imperial coat of arms etc, I think you got my point@@locosmidol4850
