Jens a story of two brothers, both arrested; one was beaten to being handicapped to a wheelchair for life. The other brother lived with the guilt of helping the Germans and condemning his brother to a chair.
This is the story of my grandfathers' brothers.

I live here and thank's to the harbour this small village is still a living community. What people of Gilleleje did in those days is beyond comprehension for people of today.

    Fint klip "Gilleleje 1943"
44 sekunder inde i klippet vises en VW transporter - man kan roligt sige, at de har været på forkant med fremtiden i Gilleleje.

My Mother was Born September 25, 1941 Copenhagen Denmark. Born into evil captivity of Nazis. She was not a jew but she said her and her family suffered from the nazis and ptsd of the war. Her Moster Inge married a nazi who abused their adoptive children. So sad. My Mother immigrated in 1960 alone to Los Angeles California. Her and her family died young ages 49, 56 and 64 due to wwii trauma, ptsd and illness. So many suffered unfortunately not only danish jews. God Bless them all!
