Red Bull Foxhunt - Cardrona. Dad's Army Style.

- We missed the Redbull foxhunt by a few days. This race starts at the top of Cardrona Bike Park in the South Island of NZ and ends up at the historic pub at the bottom. We decide to run our own Fox Hunt race with a difference.
We even ran into Bernard Kerr but please don't talk about his bike!

Here in Australia our E-bikes are limited to 25kph so 32 is the dream! I love having a beer on Saturday afternoons and watching your videos
25 is ridiculously slow. I have ridden that in Europe. I have ridden derestricted bikes and it is so much nicer.
Derestricted mine on a app for £25, not sure how much that is in aus money . Called etuning!

That's a good decent alright, have you ever thought of running the secus vorsprung on your fork it would help so much or just upgrade to better suspension.

Hi Lance, what’s the ratio of flats to clipless with you dads army boys, I’ve ridden clipless for years, mainly BMX racing in the cruiser class, and also on my Marin hard tail, now gone E-bike, Whyte E160, and using flats, thinking of going clipless, but not sure of the advantage on an Ebike
About 80% clipless pedals. I think we have used them for so long it is just a habit.
Definite pros and cons. Going OTB when clipped in is bad but I love the security of clips over rough stuff and in the air. I think learning to manual and wheelie is harder clipped in.

I have ridden in Europe and the UK and yes it is painful.
Trust the ebikers to be complaining when their motor is giving power at 30kph on a downhill.
We love to complain. We also like going faster.😃
