If you were to replace one of these classes with a Cataphract, what would you recommend? I find Cata is easier to level with due to it having decent AoE and nice spear buffs.

imo better go with hoplite first and dragoon last. Dragoon has the least aoe damage and spammable skills. Or if you want to go for more levelling/more aoe oriented, you can go hoplite>cata>lancer and you can swap the cata with dragoon later on. Cata has decent AOE attack with spear
Depends on the situation for red cards For green cards use rashua 3 pcs For blue cards also depends on what ur wearing and enemy For purple depends on what red card ur using but most of the time i use the pain barier cards
Only annoying part is getting dismounted in some PvE contents and the mount goes out of commission. Makes Lancer unusable for a bit and has a slower time getting back into action.

Best investment for this build is the Vaivora Grind. It pretty much makes the quintain skill overheat to 3. Very good ichor if you're going lancer.
i got Cata as a sub for Hop, good CC skills (particularly Rush: Pull)

You can definitely use that build for end game but it wouldn't compete with the top tier builds .

Most of it is filled automatically, nothing u can do about it.
you get them doing main quest and the lvl reward from the collection npc
