Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. Forte seems so down to earth and someone who would be cool to hang with. I love "Last man on Earth" very unique humor. Happy that he is finally getting recognized! He is a severely underrated actor/writer.
I don't want to jinx it but I notice there are never mean/negative comments under things involving Will Forte.. I think as a fan base we are generally nice people.

He is awkward in a super entertaining way, he just needs someone to tune into his wavelength of awkwardness, and then it would be a fantastic resonance.

That actually happened to me, I worked with a lady who smelled terrible all the time. There was an odd smell in the office one day and I was walking past her desk and I said, "Eeeew, what's that smell?" and then without thinking I said to her, "I'm not talking about you."
That happened years ago and I still remember it as a bad blurt moment.

It seems to be one of those movies that people either love or hate. Personally, I found it hilarious. Silly and immature, but still funny. If you like Kristen Wiig, SNL, The Lonely Island guys, and/or 80's parody you will enjoy MacGruber.

This really makes you appreciate Conan for his interviewing skills. He tees up his funny guests perfectly. Colbert trounces all over the Forte funny here. "Why would people listen to you if you're 46 and single?" Uhh that was the joke Stephen; way to suck the funny out of it.

so freaking true. that "why would people" line bug me so much too. colbert is amazing in his own way, but he's good with interviewing non-comedians. cool, weird, hilarious guests is not his forte. this interview would have been amazing on conan, stephen just wash away all energy.

I absolutely love seeing Will Forte, period. It's great seeing him still be awkward when he's not Tandy, just like it's great seeing Matthew Perry being awkward when he's not Chandler Bing.
Last Man on Earth goes down as my easily my favourite Live Action comedy (that's not in the campy Sticom style) and Season 1 is my favourite first season of any Live Action show, ever.

You're a sweet man Stephen Colbert. The way you gently led this man along made for a great interview, even after the "but you're still single, why would anyone listen to you?" gotcha moment. Seeing that he had made his guest look a lil silly and pause, Colbert immediately and smoothly transitioned the convo back in to stable ground. Flexing his Empathy Muscle, Colbert is one of the greatest interviewers I've seen

Can't tell if Stephen didn't understand the book title or if he was just trying to make another joke but the book is about things to avoid doing in order to get chicks and Will was saying he wrote it when he was 24 and now he's 46 and still single, so by that math he knows what he's talking about when it comes to doing things to keep women away.
