I am 500 at blitz and I go up and down but never continually up, how is ludwig 1122. I just don't get it, I often play at 85 accuracy. I'm certain I beat that guy every game. it's weird to me.
Accuracy doesn't mean anything. It is based on your opponent move so if they blunder everything and just force you to take their pieces, you are going to have a high accuracy.
??? The normal checkers rules have it so you can't take backwards unless the piece is promoted on the back rank. I don't know what rules you're used to but these are the standard rules as far as I'm aware.
@@fengtaowang192 most international variants allow taking backwards, as well have kings that can fly across the whole diagonal (think of it as a dark square bishop). So if you are Anglo-centric - sure, you can't take backwards

Funnily enough apparently Canadian checkers has backward capturing, as a Canadian I have never played with those rule so I was suprised to learn that. But to be fair, if you search up offical checker rules in English, the first result show the ruleset I assumed was standard.
