@Franz Fanon This makes me sad because Brazil has potential in wrestling but many here respect BJJ just as I believe that Americans respect wrestling a lot, but if I get an opportunity to be on a university team in the USA I will be very happy because it would be a dream to be able to reach the NCAA and win their titles with a lot of training and then try to make it to the olympics
Iowa did not impress me in this one. You expect these veterans to pick up bonus points and assert themselves but they all seem a little shaky. It’s still early enough for them to clean it up for March but the same roster looked much better last year. Can’t wait to see them against Michigan
I agree. I took a buddy who’d never watched a wrestling dual before thinking it’d be a good one to introduce someone to. I hyped up the Desanto match so much and it was a very boring match.
@@georgebateman557 this guy used to spar MMA. He’s just never been to a wrestling match. We live in Iowa City. It’s pretty obvious that Carver is a pretty good place to watch your first wrestling match, especially for these last few years. They just wrestled flat against Minnesota for some reason.
Yea he does. But It’s hard to say any 125 pounder looks good right now 😞 I hate missing out on all these points. But he is going to improve so much over the remainder of this season and the next.
I think I the situation drakes in is gonna end up being like the one Spencer was in, I don’t think drake will win nationals, but I think he will improve a lot and end up as a top 5 wrestler in the country
Gable is stupidly dominant. He was great during Cassar's winning year, but he will never get close to losing again unless Kirk shows something special against him

So Is jadien a 5 time AA if you include covid?. I know he's placed 4 times already. How tf is he eligible after 4 trips to the ncaa tourney including the covid all American bs. Doesn't that make him like 25
I see cracks in the armor of the Iowa Hawks. The other teams like NC State and Minnesota are going to eat away at them at the NCAA tourney like ants eating a hog, opening the way for a Penn St or Az State to take the tournament. The blood round will be key. I can see it being one of those years where the champ team has two or three in the finals and a lot of other teams share the spoils.
I'm a Penn State fan, but it was obvious that Iowa really suffered when they had to shut down for Covid for like 10 days. All the Hawkeye wrestlers who made the final got really gassed toward the end of their matches. Even Spencer Lee was just hanging on. The shutdown really messed with their conditioning.
