    Good thing the ironwood XL came out. Better version of timberline and cheaper by 2k! Only difference is the induction burner! I’ll take my chances, can’t wait to get mine delivered this weekend

      Other big difference is the double-walled stainless steel interior verses aluminum.

    Enjoy that smoker🤙
    I personally bought a 2020 Yoder second hand and saved some money but I was impressed with the construction of the timberline.

    Thanks for this video. Is there any probe port in the lid on this model so that the probe wires don’t get hit by the lid?

      Great question, there is not but the gasket is nice so no real pinching. Plus it does come with 2 Meater wireless probes.

    Not my cup of tea...I have the Timberline 850. ..I fill the hopper up and 2 hours later the hopper sensor tells me its empty. I use a ruler to spread the pellets out evenly and 2 hours guess what? also I have never gotten the wifi to work even though the router is 1 room away

      Haven't had an issue with the wifi. So far I'm happy with this one.

      @@BuQeyeBBQ any issues with the hopper sensor?

    • @BuQeyeBBQ
      @BuQeyeBBQ  Před rokem +1

      @@jjellen5804 I don't think so but like with many cookers/hoppers it will tend to cavitate and drain above the auger while the sides remain piled up. I have just always been in the habit of checking for that now and again.

    You could have gotten an LSG pellet grill for less than the price of that, and so better made.

      The LSG and Yoder are still on my list. I got this for a specific purpose at the lake camp. I'm happy with how it is made.

      I had an LSG. Great grill but it isn’t insulated and I really need insulation between cold and wind.
