It really pays to keep moving and keep switching up tactics, fish high, fish deep, fish slow, fish fast, big fly little fly, move up and then back, great video 👍👍

Hi Phil. Another great video showing the trials and joys of angling. It’s so long since I fished Westlow Mere, I can’t remember. One thing we have in common is the language we use when we lose one 😉 Thank you for sharing look forward to the next one.
Thanks for the kind words Roger 🎣🎣
Great video, Molly is the star. Not just the regular video of cast and fish on editing, full of useful information. Glad you had a good day.
Molly is a pain 😂 thank you for comment 🎣🎣

Great video! Tried to catch the names of the buzzers but couldn’t catch it. Do you sell a small stillwater nymph set?

Well done Phil, great upload, maybe di5?,,thanks for posting, kind regards Mike ,Norfolk.
Yes I could have fished deeper but looking back I should have fished a bit faster all day. Thanks for the comments where do you fish?
@@fastmailtackle8228 Hi Phil, I really stick to 3 fishery,s.my go to NO1, willow lakes, CHEDISTON,SUFFOLK, two lakes, Outstanding Fishery, opened in approx, 1970, No2, southeleham lakes, 4 lake Fishery SUFFOLK . NO 3,Black dykes Fishery, 1 lake ,near Thetford Norfolk. Tight lines mate.if you are in Norfolk, must try, willow lakes at least. 👍
Great video mate ive learned a bit from it when i fish the snake/leach it tends to sit on top of the water dosent sink much at all ive tried wetting it before i cast but like i say dosent sink a lot is this normal for this pattern or should it sink really deep and fast
It should float for the first couple of casts really if you don’t wet it, sometimes the trout love it off the top but I like it to fish straight away. Check out the original ones here

Hi Phil just wondering if the fastmail catalogue is out yet for 2024 you were going to send me

Catolgues are here please call me with your address
Would never fly fish without glasses, I've made a million fly casts and twice I've been been smacked in the specs, the last time, recently, a 4mm damsel fractured my lens, and I'm a specs warer so have reinforced lenses, without them, id probably have lost an eye.
I know it’s a fault of mine, I would always recommend anglers to wear glasses and I will in the next video
Would try smaller flys
