  • If you ever thought of what female Steph Curry would be like, then look no further than this video.
Caitlin Clark in her sophomore year at the University of Iowa has not only turned heads in the world of women's college basketball but is now starting to draw mainstream public attention due to her generational scoring ability.
In just her 2nd year in College Caitlin has drawn comparisons to the likes of Steph Curry while also receiving praise from some of the greatest NBA players like Kevin Durant and Trae Young.
Despite being ranked 2nd to Paige Bueckers in their draft class Caitlin Clark is surely making the debate of the best player of their generation much more interesting than anybody was expecting.

Clark’s a really good rebounder for a guard, too. She’s averaging 27.3/7.3/8.6 this year on 47% shooting & 39% from deep. She’s #3 in the nation in scoring, first in assists & just bullied Iowa into the Final Four with a 41 point triple double.

Still in her soph year; and you can make this kind of vid based solely on her 3's. But you could build another one on her midrange game, another on her drives to the hoop, a couple more on her assists, and yet another on her trip/dubs.

I have seen an earlier version of Clark. Sabrina Ionescu (Oregon) played the same way and now recovered from injuries with the Liberty (WNBA) she is playing like a superstar that everyone expected. I want to see a 3 Pt Competition of Ionescu and Clark.

She's 47% from the field and 40% from 3s this year. Close to Steph Curry numbers and with a quick release too. Too bad the WNBA is her ceiling.

There was this womans basketball player back in the 1960's who averaged 53 to 57 points a game I do recall. She was pretty impressive and all that. To this day I can remember what they said about her but it wasn't about her points scoreing that made her good it was her quickness and speed that was very impressive about her. They said that in one game if there was a 3 point line back then she would of made 27 3 pointers in a game. To me stats are not all impressive whats impressive to me is how the ball is handled and passed around for the beauty of it. Thats what gets my blood flowin in my basketball vains. Oh. Yeah she also scored 75 points in one game. I don't think scoreing is a big deal it's the beauty of those passes and style of play we love and live for.

She's a streaky shooter though. She can go on cold stretches. And if a team is decent at defense, they can slow down that part of her game, like Maryland did on Monday. (though a player like Caitlin can never be completely shut down)
But if Caitlin gets hot, there's really no one in the country who can guard her without leaving her teammates open.
