This is an experimental film to test the video capabilities of DSLRs and see whether it is possible to make high quality wildlife films on one.
Unfortunately it was going to take 38 hours to upload the full HD version but maybe if people like it then i will give it another go.
This is one of the first films produced by KMH Animal Images, a small production company based in England.

This is a wasp spider, zebra spider or tiger garden spider (argiope bruennichi) in the wildlife gardens of the United Kingdom or England that ensnared a green flower chafer beetle or scarab like June bug or fig beetle in her web. She bites the beetle that flew into her web, puts in her venom, wait until the venom digest the beetle’s blood then wait for the beetle to slow down and finally suck out the beetle’s blood. The wasp banded garden spider aka bruennichi’s argiope spider needs to repair and recycle her web because the green flower scarab like beetle did a big amount of damage to her web.

I got a small house spider that has made a beautiful web near the window and in the sun looks like a sheet of silk and this small spider is a beast, just the other day a large blue bottle got caught in the Web and with the strength of the flys wings buzzing, I thought it would kick itself free but to my amazement the small spider knew how to tackle the bigger fly and soon had it wrapped in coils, then spent the day feasting on it and another thing I realised it that the spider kicks the flies out of the Web once they have finished with them, and noticed their are a few dryed out flies on the floor below the Web.

The striped argiope is a species of web spider from the family of the Crusades. Females reach up to 25 mm, males only 7 mm. This spider owes its name to the coloration similar to tiger fur. The cephalothorax is silvery, and the abdomen is silvery or golden with black transverse stripes

I never know what to expect when. It's a beetles vs Spider. It can go either way just depends on who has more fight. Beetles are string and can rip through webs

That's a great video, with great music and great lines. The end part where the corpse falls through a flower was especially poetic.
If you look for suggestions for improvement, the narrator's pronunciation of words can be clearer.

As a kid I used to get a 1/4 tin of wet cat food, leave it out overnight, in the morning walk up to it and give it a blast of wd40 or engine easy start and an open flame. it burns the wings off the flies as they try to escape, I would feed my orb weavers so much, they used to sag in their webs under their own weight I would put about a dozen bluebottles in each web I could see them almost double in size overnight,
Man they really gave this beetle a movie script narration and a sad movie soundtrack to go with it lol

@Mr Jn, Yes that is a bumblebee and I am happy to see the bumblebee escape from the spider’s web. Bees are cuter than spiders and most of our vegan meals, fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts depend on them.

I think you did a great job. Is this your career, or a hobby? It would probably be worth the hideous upload time. You would only do it once, & it would maximise the benefits from your obvious hard work. This is difficult work (filming tiny stuff). I know. I did it. Well done fella!

Danijel Bozic Spiders have venom not poison. Though to answer your question, you are safe. You may be at risk if the bite becomes infected or you are allergic to something in the venom.

@Fut Phungus, that orb weaver is a zebra spider (argiope bruennichi) it is the European version of the black and yellow orb weaver that we have here in the U.S.A. (Argiope Aurantia)
