- @4BOutdoors and myself are up in the arctic circle of Alaska with caribou tags in our pockets. It is both of ours first time hunting caribou and we couldn't be more excited as we've talked about this hunt for several years. Come along with us on our journey on the arctic tundra to try and bring home some meat for the freezer with our bows.

Was up there late August. Drove from Anchorage. Spent a night at Prudhoe Bay before air boating 50 miles up the Ivishack. Floated out. We got a caribou and almost a grizzly. Tundra is awful terrain. Enjoy your videos.
Thanks I definitely appreciate it. I was up there again this year but early to mid august and it was tough. Took 9 days but finally got it done as well. Congrats on the bull!
Dude!! Did I hear correctly? You moved to Alaska!😱…that’s awesome!!🤙…great video can’t wait to see the outcome
Yes sir you heard it correctly haha Packed up and moved mid July. Thanks for watching like always, I think you’ll like the ending of it👍
Hell yeah!! That’s awesome man, we just bought property near Tok and will be moving out there full time in May! Excellent video as always!!

Nice, that’s a great area for caribou! Thanks for watching and thanks especially for the kind words!
Best wishes hope you guys get your bulls.

Awesome content keep it up
Thank you for the encouragement!
What time of year was this with the weather you are having. Late August? Early september?
Mid-late august. Weather up there is pretty unpredictable. The week before it snowed about 6” I think. It was from upper 20’s to upper 50’s while we were there. We left a little early because a storm was moving in that would have had us stuck in the tent for a few days.
@New Divide Outdoors appreciate the response! I'm planning to go up in September, and wondering if I should be moving the dates ahead
@@jamisonwinter1437 you’re welcome. Just go prepared for snow/rain and temps 15-70 and you’ll be good. Idk if you’ve ever been to AK but weather can change on a dime and especially up there on the slope it can snow one day and the next be 80 degrees. Most of all have fun, it’s a blast!
awesome man congrats!!! What time were you guys up there?
Thanks! Mid-late august
Sent you a pm on Instagram with a picture of our moose
