When there are other people waiting for photos you don’t stand up there for 5 minutes playing with the horse. They don’t want you in their photo. Have a little courtesy!

I have never seen this guard so upset,he’s very popular with his smile,always joyful and kind to the disabled community,always has a giggle with his team.first time I seen him like this but also a reminder of how service and duty comes first.

🤔I remember that guy @ 13:01 in a previous vid putting a recording device on a gate to record conversations... He's either doing it to annoy *OR* most probably up to no good which is worrying. Relieved to see that the soldiers were keeping an eye on him and told him to leave. 💂💂

The kid in the stripped shirt was annoying that poor horse!! it was clear that the horse wanted him to leave him alone, but he just didn't care!! and then snapping his fingers to get the horse's attention whenever the horse was trying to ignore him! plus he was up there for a while!! the kid was acting like an entitled brat!!

As much as I love the horses and seeing how professional The Kings Guard are, it’s the tourist that are truly out of control. I think what they need to do is put a barrier up so this way the horse is not so surrounded to the point where it gets agitated. Also people have no respect for someone who is getting their picture taken. They will walk right in front of the person and not even care. They put up a barrier and allow maybe two people on each on the side of the horse I think it will be more controlled with the barrier gate. People can wait in line and if they don’t want to, they can leave you go to another country and there’s a huge sign telling you not what to do and people do it anyway. I’ve seen the children act more mature than the adults
@londonsage8696 They are on a public footpath on Whitehall , Westminster council not MOD so barriers are not possible , no room for them either . Barriers would also be potentially dangerous to horse and Trooper if the horse had a meltdown .

A couple of red lines on the ground around the box would keep tourists at a sensible distance.
They have barrier lines in the yard for when horses are box changing.

These are REAL soldiers, not actors. It is NOT Disney land. I’m sorry for the many, but this behaviour must be outlawed by having a ‘no tourist’ zone. I feel so sorry for these young men and women, trying so hard to do a bloody difficult job.
The public should always have access, but it needs to be respectful. New South Wales Police horses are very friendly and public is allowed to pat horses. But it is always best to ask permission of the trooper

At 18 minutes it looks like the first trooper moved his horse out to see better down the road as the trooper on foot walked away.

Recording devices or explosive devices? I’m sure the guard isn’t going to be this agitated over recording devices! Peoples phones have recording devices, guards conversations must be caught millions of times..... it must be something worse than that.
He was trying to record MOD police it’s on video
It was a recording device that he tried to hide and was then Banned. When he tried to come back weeks later he was kicked out by the MOD Police.
He fixed a recording device to the gate. So he was banned.
Yeah I don't get it either. There are people recording all around, including the police. If they don't want people sticking cameras on the gates, tell him. But to ban the guy? Makes no sense.

They take them to a beach in Scotland. I kid you not.
They also get exercised in the Park daily. They are very well taken care of horses!
The also go for 4 weeks normally to Holkam beach in Norfolk. There are videos of them in the water having fun with their guards. There is also video of the horses and guards at Yellowcraig beach in Scotland just shortly after the Kings Coronation.

But from what I seen you can see these guy's are really well taken care of, more so then most other animals...you will see some of the horse's have really cute interaction's with the guards to show the care between each...think of it how police take care of their K9 dog's...

Obviously the police are slacking off again. Was that new lady policewoman on duty as she tends to back up the guards. What are the police actually meant to do at horse guards other than stand around posing with their guns engrossed in talking and ignoring all the chaos going on around them. a couple of the police there are very good its just a shame their colleges let them down. The man was in a couple of the videos I think he was a regular that videoed the things going on then he was stupid putting a listening devise on the gate. I remember the police evicting him and one of the regulars told the guy he should know better. The guard was good at spotting him but it also goes to show you can be surrounded by people and yet still feel alone. I wonder if that is what that guard felt.
@jackietomkinson933- The police are Ministry of Defence police their role is security , antiterrorism and public safety on a MOD property . They have ear pieces and there is a cctv system including in the box . Crowd control unless at change over times is not their mandate , at change over that's public safety . They can and do order people to leave the courtyard and like the man who planted a microphone ban them from Horse Guards . The Trooper who came out was seen talking to them , Army and MOD work together .
