I've been trying to tell people who hated your last album that the overly cheesy production and songwriting was intentional, and that you were attempting to both parody and create a tribute to 80s rock in the same way your first 3 EPs did with horror soundtracks. As a fan of Carpenter Brut, Grave Pleasures/Beastmilk, and most of these movies, I feel like this video was made just for me.
Another top notch video from a phenomenal artist. I really enjoy the way they mixed in all the spot on elements, including the spoof band names on the top ten list. And especially the sexy sleaze of 80’s rock/metal culture.
I just saw Carpenter Brut play about three weeks ago with Gost as the opening act at the new 9:30 club. Both groups had outstanding sets and I’m really glad I had a chance to them live. I almost didn’t go because it was a late show w/ 10 o’clock doors, and I almost stayed home. Glad I didn’t because it was one of the best shows I’ve seen in a while
I remember screaming my lungs out to this song in the front row at the Leather Patrol tour - great times, great memories

Actually really digging the world building with this album, the live shows and (hopefully!) the rest of the new Trilogy. Carpenter Brut and Silver Strain have made a great team in regards to the audio/visual feast we get with each video.
