    Reason: the thrust reverser of engine No.1 operating the flight deployed in flight without being commanded, causing the aircraft to enter an uncontrolled dive, break up, and crash, killing all 213 passengers and the 10 crew members on board.

    There was footage of outside and inside of the plane about 1 year before it crashed. One of the scariest things about this footage is that at some points the cameraman aimed at the faulty engine with his camera. It’s like he predicted what would happen to this engine and this plane in the next year.
    One more thing I want to mention about this video is that a person helped to take photo of the couple standing in front of the same engine that killed this plane next year. Little did they know about it.

    • @sunnyfon9065
      @sunnyfon9065 Před 6 měsíci

      @@pals_312 You can find the video by searching up the plane’s registration on CZcams. At end of the video the camera man looks at the tail of the plane, where the registration is. You can clearly see the registration is OE-LAV, the exact plane that crashed as Lauda Air Flight 004. The plane in the video is also clearly a Boeing 767-300 operated by Lauda Air.

    @ImperialDiecast Před 2 lety +58

    one of the worst crashes in aviation history involving a single plane. i mean you only have seconds to react before the plane's fate was sealed. even the best pilots in the world couldnt have wrestled control back and wrestling in this case means using your rudder and flaps to max which further stresses the airframe. remember the american airlines flight 587 crash was caused by doing just that to fight your way through wake turbulence. the only chance these pilots had was to return to airport the moment the warning came on. but if you research the planes history, this warning had been popping up for months before this and they had tried to fix it but failed.

      because every body burns alive and hits the ground so fast even faster than a car if you kid, thats why you cant open windows for a wind in planes because there are no oxygen in the aair and your skin would rip apart by such a speed and you hit ground with it and plane explodes and there are no bones even left thats not like little bomb its like 450 stoves wich can even left an area of an park or even bigger.

    He has warnings (more than one) from the aircraft itself that the reverse thrust might deploy. He should have listened to his plane.

    • @purefatdude2
      @purefatdude2 Před 2 lety +21

      the warning came on and off. They also looked at the reference guide on what to do with those warning and the instructions didn't indicate any concern (do nothing). Also, the plane is suppose to be controllable with the thrust reversal deployed. Of course, it is easy to sit down and blame the pilot instead of fixing the actual problem.

      There’s a great video form Mentour Pilot adding a lot of details In what happened, they did what most people would have done in that case, the manual didn’t mention it as a critical error and it wasn’t ever recorded before.
