Outstanding show and review. This is a world class collection and every bit as good as SoundToys. Might even be better, more modern, and versatile.
Nice demos there! gives me an idea of flavour when pushed which i find useful when choosing. Their emulations are pretty great! Maybe in the next sale!
Thanks! They are often on sale and we might see the Collection 4 sometime soon
Great video. I also love Chorus dimension D and plate 140 is my default for snare reverb. I love these pack and I use them a lot way more than the V collection.
Me too, I got other synths to use, but some of the effects are my go tos
Oh, aside from FX, I did get their new Augmented Brass. Being a low brass player long before getting into synthesizers, I like being able to incorporate realistic high brass without the bother of extra expensive sample libraries.
i got a couple of these as freebies at some point in the past. arturia does good work in general.
Brilliant demonstration, as usual. FX Collection is pretty awesome. Looking forward to version 4, which should be out soon.
Thanks a lot :). Yeah I agree, they already have two effects outside the collection, I guess newer ones will be a surprise with the Collection 4
@@AlexReidStudios Yeah, exactly. In fact, Dist COLDFIRE is my favorite FX Collection effect yet. It is really insane. LX-24 sounds sweet too, though I don't have it yet. Curious about what else will be added to FX Collection 4, and also any improvements, because Arturia! :)
@@KaitavSapreMusic Oh sorry, there are three effects outside the collection. The MS-20 filter is not included. And I agree, I love how they modernized the Lexicon
@@AlexReidStudios Yeah. Overall, FX Collection is growing in the right direction and their newer stuff keeps getting better. I also like that they added a "Bypass" button on all the FX Collection plugins.
@@KaitavSapreMusic Yeah, the only downside is that they tend to forget about older plugins, same with the V collection. I would love to have modern modulators and UIs on all the effects
I got their Filter MS-20 for free and eventually added their Filter MINI as I got a discount on top of the sale price for already owning a Keystep. Haven't looked into many of their other effects as it didn't seem as cost efficient. Plus, I occasionally reamp through the effect pedals I already have, so software equivalents would be redundant.
arturia is the future
They make great tools, amazingly they are good for hardware and software
Arturia is holding out on the aax silicon native update. They have totally tossed fx collection 3 to the side.
@@shadowhenge7118 yeah they released FX collection 4 and aax silicon native update for FX collection 3 the same time. I bought augmented brass day one and got lx-24 for free. The gave us ms20 for free, so my upgrade will be $49 usd for FX collection 4 in which only 2 plugins will be added. Coldfire and cls-222.
funny that only 3 weeks later they release v4... less than a year after v3; this way it starts to feel like it has become a subscription package...
I already had filter ms-20 from when they gave it away for free. So 69 Euros for 3 new plugins. Rather underwhelming.
@@marleenvos4126 Agree, I would most definetly use the LX-24 a lot, but $69 only for that? No thanks, the Distortion is amazing but I have other similar (even better) plugins
You don't have to get the new one - v3 won't stop working. A subscription means something else.
only when they do it for 50$
Very comprehesive and detailed reviews. I appreciate the work and the demos to make the decision of the plugins clear. Thanks.
Thank you! Glad to help
