i have been playing tournament settings since i started in gears 5. i tried classic alt with claw like in this video but the normal bounces feel unresponsive and weird. is there a big difference between the two i'm missing? because it feels completely different. aside from the buttons of course. And also my respect for your movement.
Its definitely different timing but ive seen alt players look like they spam bouncing. Its like a delay but then i see that stuff lol did you ever figure out why exactly? I havent spent much time with alt because of that and feel if i began to understand why, I'd be able to work towards getting comfortable on it

I think it is possible... I edited the last reply,... alternate was always faster in all gears games initially than default so that part is probably faster still... it's still consistently faster the way you mentioned though. Very rarely do I see it being equal though if it is... being difficult to figure out right now... right now I'm thinking it is just as fast but the roadie run backwards to cover move doesn't maybe happen in versatile way of ability or even as fast on these controls

I used to do this move all the time back in gow3. To me it's a lot more harder to pull off some moves in this game in certain situations than in gow3.

@@Fheno you're absolutely right. Im jus talkin about some moves. Like the move shown in the video is one of them in gow3 doin this move was a lot easier to execute. Now gow5 you gotta be a little bit more faster or your camera will change direction and fuck up the move. Also I'm a defualt

Salut je reviens vers toi tu n'aurais vraiment pas une solution ? Je connait le jeu etc les mouvements pas de soucis mais niveau connexion malgré la fibre ya rien a faire j'ai 5 min de connexion tout les 4 mois ( Niveau déplacement) ta vraiment pas un petit conseil réglage niveau co ( sérieux mon perso pèse 2 tonnes la plupart du temps impossible d'enchaîner 2 slides pourtabt quant j'ai le delire ca passe nickel sans forcer ( je sait pas c'est quoi le delire) et avoir des balles c'est pas le soucis ... voilà merci
I’ve been using settings similar to this since gears 4, map A to RB, and X to LB. basically paddles but a lot better

Where do you put the reload and tac/com? I already play with A mapped to RB but I've been wanting to play alt for a while now, always imagine using LB for run(x). But right now i have reload set to LB and i hate the thought of having to taking my thumb of the stick while moving and stuff for it, might just be what i would have to do if i dont use a paddle

Have you ever done this speed with default control scheme? ...Is it possible ?
Is it also possible without remapping?
Right now my thoughts are it is possible but the reason its not as fast is because the roadie run back and take cover technique maybe doesnt happen as fast or at all to the degree of versatile like ability with these controls.
Unfortunately feels slower on default
@@Fheno yeah I'm feeling it too. Hopefully this is the standard speed in gears 6... next update lol... I hope TC doesn't try to change this speed though...
Edit I spoke too soon I tried it holding A then A in between its looking exactly the same speed actually... oh yeah alternate was always faster initially than default in all gears games, so its probably is still
It's faster the way you have posted consistently. Being rarely equal in speed on default... but maybe not, its difficult to tell right now and to figure out if it was ever.

yo poto j'ai mit les réglages que ta mit mais le soucis c que je court avec LB maintenant et quand je veux slyder avec A le perso se colle une fois sur 30 au mur pas toujours c bisarre ta une solution ?
Oriente ton joystick gauche là où tu veux aller et habitue toi au différent timing
