      Yes, you actually could. Go into your ground suppression settings and turn it up to 3 or 4. I forgot I had my ground suppression at zero at the time of this recording.

      Well, not really.
      Ground balancing removes the responding ground signals so that target signals are more clear and not masked by ground noise.
      And ground suppression on a metal detector may refer to ground clutter suppression, which reduces the number of returns caused by highly reflective objects on the ground like bottle caps.
      Certain metal detectors do not have the bottle cap rejection feature so what I like to do is raise my ground suppression to avoid hitting on those bottle caps but, do keep in mind the higher you raise the ground suppression the more likely you are to miss on good targets.
