- Our Ultra X Loch Ness 110KM Ultra Marathon adventure continues!
Starting in Fort Augustus and heading back towards Inverness to finish, day 2 was perhaps the easier of the legs, with a tricky hill start being offset by great conditions underfoot and a shorter, 50k distance.

Amazing Al (and Smid!) This looked utterly brutal, I was really feeling for poor Smiddy at one point, he looked like a broken man! Lovely bit of bling to add to the collection and some rightfully earnt bragging rights of a multi day ultra ultra!! 👌🏻👍🏻
Thanks Nic! Yeah, he did amazing to get through day 2 so strongly despite being in pain for the duration! Yep, I’ll be telling people about this one for a good while!
Just brilliant Al. What an absolutely incredible achievement for you both. It's brilliant watching all of your running escapades. Here's to more awesome adventures ahead 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Dean! Really appreciate the support as always!
Absolutely superb Al, excellent video as usual. Cant imagine to many better places for scenery in an ultra 👌
Thank you! However today’s episode from the Lake District gives it a good run for its money! The beautiful weather certainly helped!
Mega Awesome Guys, you met some great people on your run.
What a video indeed!!! Well worth the wait. And the views!!! OMG the views!!! Absolutely breathtaking 🥰🇨🇦
Spectacular weren’t they. Loch Ness is almost too long to actually process. My reference is the Lake District and even Ullswater is short by comparison!
Well done to both of you!
Your enthusiasm and cheery videos are why you are my favourite channel.
Keep up the good work, happy running 🏃👍😊
Thank you Joan! You’re very kind, it’s made my afternoon!
Amazing 2 videos i love the way you delivered them. The banter was great .and the scenery was great well done to you and smid.hope you recover well
Thanks Paul! Ran a half today… not sure that’s the best recovery plan but I enjoyed myself!
Love your content, it's bloody joyful!!
Thanks Kim! Really appreciate it!
Just what I needed for a Monday morning
Ha, happy to help Andy!
Loved the video, as ever. Hoping to complete my first ultra with Isaac's Tea trail later this year. That cafe above the falls of Flyers had run out of scones on one visit, so they sent us down to see the falls whilst baking a fresh batch of scones - brilliant. Thank you for the great content. I might have to peruse the AP merch to have as an alternative to my team Caterpillar top.
Ha, how cute is that! It looked like a proper little cafe when I popped in. I think a tee would suit you perfectly! Thanks for watching and that’s great news on Isaac’s!
Well done to you both! Might be an event to add to the wishlist! The camping part looks like a great way to make a whole weekend adventure out of it. Makes me feel slightly nervous/excited as ive got to do this distance next month for the wall! 😬🤢
Ahh! Is that how long The Wall is?! I’m signed up but hadn’t checked exactly how long it is! Bring it on!
@@AlPepperRuns haha yeah 70 miles in one hit! Can't wait! See you on the start line!
Fantastic mate, great to see Lloyd Pervis as well
Thank you! Yeah, Loyd and Liga were great company. Brilliant runners too!
Wow mate that was an awesome watch, I take my hat off to yous 2 for that!!! Chapeau!!!!
Thanks Jono! Bring on the next adventure!
@@AlPepperRuns what is the next big one?
@@just_jono Scafell Skyrace at the start of June! 40k technical trail run!
Great achievement that. Must be tough getting going on day two especially after 60k in the legs and little sleep .. well done for the run and two excellent vids!
Yeah, day 2 was tough to start. I was buzzing to even have slept for a few hours so I woke up feeling like a winner!
Nicely done Al, well done to you both 👊🏻👏
Thanks Ian! It’s a great adventure to add to our list of achievements! Multi dayer… done!
Ultra smid looking his usual chirpy self ha
At least you had some better views on this leg. Makes the hills worth it.
I'll see you and the gang at Wild Deer Ultra in October!
Haha, he was in pain though! He did awesome to run so well despite the pain. Nice, see you there Liam!
Unbelievable effort, well done guys
Thanks Ally! Next big one is Scafell Sky Race!
Well done, Al!
Thanks Neil!
If I could see those views just running down hill :P
Haha, en entirely down hill event? There is that cheese run somewhere down south. Not sure the views are as good though!
