This song is an absolute masterpiece. I never noticed when I was younger, to me it was just a catchy and good song, but everything from the instrumental to the lyrics and adlibs is so beautiful! I cant think of another song that portrays so much creativity. All the instrumental from piano adds a gentle and vulnerable feel like as though making wonder what will happen next and her voice is more helpless in the beginning. Then the intensity in the instrumental with the guitars is like showing the desperation and frustration in it also, and it only gets more intense and with vocals she starts sounding more pleading and those guitar riffs (? Im not sure what you call it lol) right after the first chorus is so amazing. The bridge so beautifully done with the violins added. So many layers to the song. Also when you listen to it in headphones you can hear the background vocals and extra harmonizing and ad libs in it. The adlibs are more monotone on underneath her stronger vocals it’s like showing how she feels numb but at the same time sad and hopeless with that mixture of vocals. Im no musician but this is how I view the song. The instrumental adds to the meaning of the song. Dark, intense, vulnerable, powerful, and emotional. I love it!

Sent me into a spin of depression and nearly reignited an gambling addiction that i used when i was 19 to escape the pain of the physical and emotional abuse (One time he attempted to suffocate me with the plastic bag that he brought me to clean out his cats litter box My mom hit him with a broom to get him off me or i would of died). Made me realize how much of a vicious cycle abuse really is. Parents abuse there kid, There Kid think the abuse is ok, they do the same and there is no changing there behaviour. and i vow as a proud father of two children to never let them go through what i went through

I remember my mum listened to this song a lot when I was only a toddler. She would listen to it early in the morning or after I went to bed on her old stereo. I had that vivid of a memory of it that I ended up recognising the song straight away in an old AMV that I watched nearly seven or eight years ago. Nowadays, it reminds me of my mum and my childhood... It always reminds me of how little of a life I had when I lived with her. However, I still listen to it because I like it.

This song is an absolute masterpiece. I never noticed when I was younger, to me it was just a catchy and good song, but everything from the instrumental to the lyrics and adlibs is so beautiful! I cant think of another song that portrays so much creativity. All the instrumental from piano adds a gentle and vulnerable feel like as though making wonder what will happen next and her voice is more helpless in the beginning. Then the intensity in the instrumental with the guitars is like showing the desperation and frustration in it also, and it only gets more intense and with vocals she starts sounding more pleading and those guitar riffs (? Im not sure what you call it lol) right after the first chorus is so amazing. The bridge so beautifully done with the violins added. So many layers to the song. Also when you listen to it in headphones you can hear the background vocals and extra harmonizing and ad libs in it. The adlibs are more monotone on underneath her stronger vocals it’s like showing how she feels numb but at the same time sad and hopeless with that mixture of vocals. Im no musician but this is how I view the song. The instrumental adds to the meaning of the song. Dark, intense, vulnerable, powerful, and emotional. I love it!

never knew how deep this song meant until this year had my world ripped apart discovering that my Dad turned out to be my Stepfather and my Siblings turned out to be half siblings. The biggest kick in the teeth was that my entire family on both my Stepfathers and Moms side knew about this and never told me and apparently the last time my father saw me was 25 years ago when i was 18 months old. Sent me into a spin of depression and nearly reignited an gambling addiction that i used when i was 19 to escape the pain of the physical and emotional abuse (One time he attempted to suffocate me with the plastic bag that he brought me to clean out his cats litter box My mom hit him with a broom to get him off me or i would of died). Made me realize how much of a vicious cycle abuse really is. Parents abuse there kid, There Kid think the abuse is ok, they do the same and there is no changing there behaviour. and i vow as a proud father of two children to never let them go through what i went through

This is probably going to sound silly to some. Anytime I hear or sing this song, I think of Jason David Frank because he felt like a go to face (like watching his videos or movies/shows) and when he released his short movie "In My Head" and other poem about mental health, he helped me feel like I wasn't alone while letting his emotions and vulnerable side out. He was also the first celebrity I met at a comic con. Awesome, nice, and silly guy. Couldn't help but love him more.
