Watched your sister's story on Special Books. Alexandra is a light in a very dark world. Don't ever let anyone get you down Alexandra and remember, if anyone is ever mean to you, it isn't a reflection of you. It is a reflection of the bad stuff in their own heart and mind. Your purity, laughter and innocence are what helps make this world bearable for some. Don't ever change. WIlliams Syndrome is awesome in my opinion! I wish I was able to put on a big smile as wide as you do. Best wishes to you and your loved ones.

I ❤️ those who have Williams syndrome! I found out about this unique disability years ago and fell in love with those who are pure in heart and love others. I know that many with Williams are talented in music and movement. Good to know you hate drama too !

What an interesting syndrome. They seem pretty much completely normal, except that they are more positive and happy. I mean, could we make this contagious.

No, there are more side affects that are bad so i dont think you would want it to be contagious😕
There are definitely some challenges with it... things like money management and technical knowledge tend to be harder to pick up for those affected. It also tends to make you so trusting, you need training not to be taken advantage of. But on the plus side, people with are great to be around :)
@@MRClean-lx7ee Some of them suffer significant intellectual and cognitive disabilities. So it does have some a major down side since they need to be cared for continuously, to live in this rough and cruel world.

There are some challenges that they didn't cover. I worked with a little guy who has Williams Syndrome and learned that they tend to struggle with social boundaries. For example, he would ask me very personal questions. I mean, personal to the point it would be inappropriate for me to answer them. If I said I wasn't going to answer that, he would relentlessly badger me until several people explained I didn't have to answer his question. He touched me inappropriately on several occasions, so we had to have some conversations on what is and is not an appropriate touch. Some adults with Williams Syndrome have been known to just go talk to children and want to be friends with them. Unfortunately, in this day and age, that can be misjudged as being creepy. They also typically have some craniofacial differences and learning disabilities. People with Williams Syndrome are awesome and beautiful, but the syndrome does come with challenges.

The side effects with this condition are heart failure,difficulty learning and more.
I don't know if you follow the sbsk channel on you tube (special books books by special kids) but a girl named Callie Truelove, who has williams sydrome is interviewed. She is the sweetest! Maybe you and your sister might like to watch❤

You're video made me bawl. My cousin was born with Williams Syndrome. She was my best friend from the moment she was born. She passed away a few years ago and the loss still affects me to this day. 💙💙 this and keep teaching people about the magic that is Williams Syndrome.

I think this video is so awesome educating the public, is such a crucial necessity towards Community acceptance. I don't know if I've ever tell you I work with adults with developmental disabilities and educating the community, to gain acceptance as we integrate them fight for equal opportunities and jobs is an ongoing challenge. I think everybody could learn from people with special disabilities. In my oppinion they truly dance like nobody is watching. They spread so much happiness.
I have a mild case of William's Syndrome, I found out that I had it when I was 15, 29 now...It has brought on some minor challenges, but I've learned to adapt and live with it.This is the first time I've seen anything on CZcams about William's Syndrome..Thank you for sheading some light on this seldom known syndrome.

I really loved this video! I also have a little sister with willams syndrome and she reminds me alot of your sister. She loves to dance, listen to music, be social and she really loooves boys and make-up. When she was younger she would always go up to stangers and hug them or ask random questions, it may have seemed wierd to others but it was just so normal to us. We need to take good care of these wonderful humanbeings, they make our world a happier place.

My son has the heart of WS and the other characteristics but has all of his chromosomes. It is challenging but very rewarding raising him. He too loves making people happy all the time and doesn't yet understand he cant just go off on his own. Granted he is only 8.
