Thank you for 3 year review! I ve decided to purchase one, cant wait, just trying to decide between glass carafe.
Thank you so much for your support and for watching my review!
@@ProductPortfolio Your welcome! I went with glass carafe KBGT! reason being I can take carafe out to hot tub and have multiple coffee's without getting out, or breakfast on the patio! I received it yesterday Im 2 brews in and loving it! its pricey, but very worth it!
Thanks for the followup! Your original review was very helpful for me at the time I bought my Moccamaster. Yes, I'm continuing to love enjoy mine every day. 😊 On the cleaning, the only additional thing I'll say is that I've noticed over time a film will build up inside the clear tank, so I've taken to giving the inside a quick wipe out each morning, and that solves the problem.
That's awesome to hear you're still enjoying your Moccamaster! Thanks for the tip on keeping it clean. Cheers to many more great cups of coffee!
I just got mine a couple weeks ago and I am in love! Best kitchen purchase ever! I got the KBGV Select with the glass carafe because I usually only brew half a pot. The color is candy apple red, so I named her Ruby.😊
Sounds like Ruby is the new star of your kitchen! Watch out for any jealousy from the other appliances!
I love Moccamaster’s so much I have 7 Moccamaster coffee maker’s plus the Moccamaster Coffee Grinder. I use Third Wave Water, rarely do I have to descale, but when I do descale I use the same product you use by Urnex. All my Moccamaster’s work just like new, never had any problems. To me they are gold in making absolutely delicious coffee.
With that many Moccamasters, you must have a coffee for every mood and occasion!
Nice video fun and informative, looks like new, superbly done, looking forward to your future Moccamaster product.
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Hi, Moccamaster recently forwarded a notice of their new 60 Anniversary Edition. They have publicly now released it and for what it is worth I was not very favorably impressed. Now don't get me wrong, I do enjoy my Moccamasters. I am wondering what did I miss with the 60th Anniversary Edition?.
It's always interesting to see how companies celebrate anniversaries with special editions. Maybe there are some unique features or design elements in the 60th Anniversary Edition that set it apart!
Looking forward to your review of Technivorm's 60th Anniversary Diamond Editon with its lifetime warranty.
Your excitement means a lot! Can't wait to share my thoughts on it.
I PRE-ORDERED MY VERY 1ST COFFEE MAKER- THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY MOCCAMASTER. I just need to be educated on the types of grains and filters for this beautiful machine.
Hi Christina. I have same coffee setup that you show. What grind setting are you using on your Baratza Virtuoso for the Technivorm. Thanks for the videos.
I’m sorry I no longer have that grinder and I have the Fiorenzato now. The consistency of your grind for a cup of coffee should be close to the consistency of granulated sugar.
Thats a great looking harry potter pijama, whwre have you bought it?
Amazon and thanks
Does the wetting of the paper filters first, before brewing, really help with the taste of the coffee?
Not with this maker sir!
Can anyone help me out? I have the same model but after 3 years use it has developed a leak while in the brewing coffee process. It leaks while the carafe is firmly in place onto the facing machine wall and onto the counter. Despite washing the basket carefully & operating the non-drip switch it still drips quite steadily each brew. Thank you/ Merci. G in SW France
I recommend checking the seals and gaskets on your coffee maker, they might need replacing after 3 years of use.
Does the caraffe keep the coffee hot very long?
Yes, the carafe does a great job keeping the coffee hot for a decent amount of time.
By the way, did you upgrade your thermal carafe? I didn't. The truth is that since I switched to using the Moccamaster with the glass carafe, I have stopped brewing coffee in my Moccamaster KBT 741. The KBG Select is much easier to clean. I only brew about a half of carafe of coffee in the morning and I usually finish that off while the coffee is still hot. However for my second mug of coffee, it is necessary to reheat the coffee because the cold half and half will reduce the coffee's temperature. I also highly recommend Technivorm's Moccamaster. For me, the Moccamaster is well worth the price.
no I did not upgrade and also tell me what you think about this video please czcams.com/video/srUMk9U7kVg/video.html thanks @nycjake3104
Moat gas stations have above coffee shop quality coffee...and it's half the price or more in most cases. Convenient store coffee is the best...and you can fill up your gas tank while getting a coffee at a gas station too...no need to tip either. No cup to clean afterwards too. Just get coffee from gas stations ya'll. Theyclean the machines twice a day and many places use really good beans. It's hot water over crushed up roasted beans...it's not that big of a deal. I've crushed coffee beans with a spoon in a sock before while camping because all I had was whole bean. Boiled water on a fire then poured the hot water through my sock beans...it's the caffeine you're really after...it's the addiction aspect of coffee that make the users over think pouring hot water over crushed up beans. It's not really that difficult to make coffee.
Thank you for sharing your coffee wisdom! Gas station coffee is truly a hidden gem, and your enthusiasm for it is contagious.
@ProductPortfolio I've worked for Starbucks and Tully's coffee. At Starbucks, when out coffee was about to expire, they sent us new bags with new dates on the bags that we had to empty the old outdated coffee beans into. We were told that coffee doesn't expire and that they're forced to put dates on coffee beans bags. We had bugs in our beans too. They said for every 100 pounds of coffee beans, there's roughly a pound of ground up dried bugs in the coffee too.
Wow thanks for sharing@@McGussen
