So why does this matter? What really matters is if the superhero is In a genuinely good story
Supergirl is all over the place, but Dreamer's story arc is well done. She just happens to be trans.
It's a better, more engaging character story than any of that horseshit you probably like in The Dark Knight trilogy, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy or the MCU. Granted, the Supergirl series as a whole will never reach the heights of the first two Reeve Superman films, Tim Burton's Batman duology and the two Wonder Woman movies, but stories like Dreamer/Nia's prove genuinely good stories can exist on cheapo prime time television. Nicole Maines is too good for the small screen.

The interviewer needs Nicole to give her some makeup tips. Also, maybe, the interviewer completed her transition later in life, so her voice and features are a bit deeper and stronger than Nicole's.
She looks just fine. That said, Nicole is even more stunning than her. She's extremely beautiful, and I love her voice.
